Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS - Gaming

That kinda sucks. I haven't been online in the past 2 days so to see this Rayman stuff was like

Impressive hoax yes but it's like why get people disappointed.

Gotta say these are all priced very well. I know people say they want a stage with each character which I can understand but yeah.

He is in the game as a trophy and why not some Indie rep that isn't Shovel Knight (joking)

I say C.Video as his games have been on the Wii, 3DS and Wii U for a while. Sakurai I think said no 3rd Party characters... crap.

Though I've enjoyed using Mewtwo he was a character I wasn't heartbroken over when he didn't make his return. (Not like how I'd feel about Zero Suit Samus.) It is really cool to see him back though. Lucas on the other hand I was legitimately surprised and happy for. Here's to hoping I can be better with him on this game then I was in brawl. I think the Mii customs look cool though I don't really use the Mii fighters. I think the prices are great. Yeah a new stage would've been cool I do agree but I have no complaints over all.

I would've put my vote in for Isa from the Sin & Punishment series but unless there's some surprise Sin & Punishment game in development I doubt he has a chance at all in making it as he's not exactly relevant. (Or that popular.) I went ahead and put my vote in for Krystal from Starfox because they are coming out with a new Starfox game after all so more Sarfox representatives would be nice. I'd be happy with even Wolf returning.

So looks like DLC will be a thing for this game after all. Would more online modes be too far fetched?

Gonna leave this here. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are going to have fun messing up with that.

Mewtwo's moveset looks very similar to melee's, so I assume his stats will get improved so he doesn't suck as much. I don't know much about Lucas since I never played Brawl, but he seems to be a close of Ness, I'd expect they'd add more original characters than that for DLC considering it's something you're paying extra for.

He's classified as a "semi-clone". Similar moveset with some major differences in stats and certain attacks.

Considering Ness already has a few of Lucas' attacks via the custom movesets screen though, I don't see the point of it.

Ultimately they would need to either use first party characters (there aren't a whole lot of those left) or spend ages trying to get rights. That's not even getting started on having to figure out a unique moveset that fits their parent franchise and the character itself.

What's the deal with Shrek? Why do people talk about him in Smash Bros. so much? He just seems like a random movie character among thousands. It makes no sense to me. Where's the origin of this? Why Shrek over the thousands of other characters?

To be fair, Shrek has actually been in a couple of games, including a fighting game of his own, so his inclusion would make more sense than, say, Chandler or Maxwell Smart. Would till main the CMC over him though.
