Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS

I had a dig around in the update files and can verify that their is 2 Ryu music tracks in the game, as well as 1 music track for Roy.

There is nothing else I can say that haven't been said in the Reddit datamining so you just have to take my word for it.

Also I can't actually convert the tracks myself only verify based on the names of the files being the same as the files in the link you posted.

Got him this morning. He's great. One of the characters I'd end up using more than usual.

Beat classic 9.0 and all star in hard earlier.

Also it seems some people are getting a glitched save file on Wii U when playing 10 man smash with him. I'd recommend staying out of that mode or even Stadium as a whole for now.

Managed to play a couple of Mewtwos online and yeah it seems like he's gotten better and a bit stronger.

Makes me wish I didn't miss out on getting him for free...

No, he's just free for people who bought and registered both versions of the game on Club Nintendo. Those who did, got free download codes for him early. Those who didn't can purchase him starting april 28th.

Also, I'm sure you can just use a wiiu without needing a gamepad by using a wiimote. Not sure about keyboard input though.

I'm excited, Lucas was my main on Brawl, but I think he would be nerfed, especially his up smash.

Also, I hope we hear news about the tournament mode.

Looks like lucas has already been buffed, his down throw buries people. After all the bullshit I deal with in the game I doubt lucas's upsmash can hardly be considered overpowered anymore. I never really even touched mewtwo in melee, so he might as well have been a new character. But I played the shit out of lucas in brawl so I'll actually be able to feel whatever difference there could be.

This guy is posting stuff datamined from the update that came out recently.

I didn't want Roy, I want to say he was a wastee of resources for the game but he probably took less work to make being the 2nd clone of marth in the game. Ryu looks cool though, that's the kind of DLC I like to see.

Now I just want a release date :v

I think making characters is easier when you made it previously or they share some code/animations with other characters like Pit and Dark Pit or Marth and Lucina. However, this only applies to Roy, Ryu may took some time, but I may be wrong, I'm not a game developer.

Regarding to stages... I'd like more stages, specially Poke Floats, that stage was super fun or at least I hope they bring back Corneria, Orbital gate is awesome, but I sometimes I miss playing on the Great Fox.

There are more stages coming. Dreamland 64 and a Street Fighter stage are confirmed so far, and we already know about Miiverse.

I'd hate to see if we had to buy stages too. They should have made a season pass for all this DLC instead of making us buy it individually. Mario Kart 8 dlc was reasonably priced. I hope they bundle all this upcoming DLC up considering everything might also be coming out tomorrow, along with Lucas.

As for Roy, I wonder if this means Marth will be buffed. Hopefully less lag on his aerials.

outside of Lucas, i'm all for these new additions. Roy always felt like a hard hitting version of Marth to me and Ryu just sounds like he's fun to have in the game in general regardless of if he ends up being shit. Always for new stages, we need to get good ones eventually and hopefully DLC can save ssb4 from that.

Some notes about the DLC characters.

Turns out Ryu has a very interesting moveset. You can input various classic Street Fighter inputs and his specials will change. His normal attacks also change depending on how long you hold the attack button. It's almost like he has custom moves loaded in all the time. I can see that mastery of Ryu might make him a top tier character.

There is an unlock message for the new stages. Hopefully this means you actually get to unlock them instead of having to buy them or simply included in the update. I'd really like that.

Also as a minor note: The 3 characters we are getting are a Melee veteran, a Brawl veteran and a new (third party) character. What if the next 3 characters are Ice Climbers, Wolf/Snake and another Sega or Namco character????

Didn't actually see any of the leaks about this DLC bar the data mining a few months back.

Roy is awesome so see returning for people who like him.

And Ryu is so complex XD Man can't wait to see what else Sakurai throws out there.

Surprise, the Smash Bros update is confirmed to be coming out tomorrow.

Finally we'll get tournament mode, custom online tournaments and replay uploads directly to youtube.

Also the 2 stages from n64; Peach's Castle and Hyrule Castle.
