Hmm. It looks like they're really making this style of character design a big thing. I'm digging it with Marth though, it fits his style and doesn't make him look too wonky.
Mario Galaxy, a new stage based off of Super Mario Galaxy 2, has been announced. Gravity tricks abound.

I'm trying to wrap my head around how the gravity might work. Obviously Sakurai explained it himself in his miiverse post, but I still can't visualize it with just these still images. I wanna see it in motion, hopefully we get some trailer for the game at some point.
Sakurai mentioned that if you stand at the edge of the screen you'll jump and be launched diagonally, so it's sounding like you can only wander on the top part of the planet. Wouldn't surprise me if it rotates, though.

Did you know that stage from home consoles are only in Wii U stages from while handheld stages are only in 3DS. I mean, SMG(2) was only for Wii released.
I'm just wondering which Pokemon stage will coming for Wii U because there aren't so many fitting stages. I only know that a stage from Pokemon Stadium, Colloseum, Gale of Darkness or Battle Revolution would fit but any others? That's my largest question.
Edit: I mean BLM has showed a pic with Xerneas but then it's not true that handheld stages are only in 3DS and not in Wii U.
My best bet would be a Rumble, PikaPark, or Battle Revolution stage for Wii U. 3DS will likely have X/Y or Mystery Dungeon stage.
X&Y are a major release, this might be taken as an exception as there is no console counterpart for the Pokemon stages.
Same thing for Kid Icarus, we might see a stage from Uprising in the Wii U version.
After all, the game is still in development so anything at this point can be changed.

Me: What the heck is that?
It's the Dark Emperor, the secret final boss of Find Mii II aka the streetpass RPG that's included in every 3DS. I wonder if he's a boss or something? It would be pretty kick-ass to fight him in real-time, unlike the game which has the worst turn-based combat of any game on earth.
Also the background is the same place you fight the last boss in, maybe it's really a stage and he's just a stage hazard.
I went to the website, and I saw that picture and thought, "Woah, am I looking at Find Mii 2 or something?"
Wow, I can't believe that Sakurai is actually putting a Find Mii 2 stage into Super Smash Bros. That would have been a very unlikely candidate, especially since Find Mii 2 is just a Street Pass Mii Plaza minigame.
Then again, since Find Mii 2 is on a handheld, it would make perfect sense for a stage like that to be on the 3DS Super Smash Bros. and not the Wii U one.
Though that does seem a little out of place being in Smash Bros.

Sakurai meant there won't be any huge big story involved like the SSE in Brawl.
I DO think however that there will be an adventure mode like Melee had. With a bunch of stages from a bunch of games, fight bosses and characters from those games using a character you picked at the start.
I honestly wouldn't mind if they do that.

Probably due to issues with Australian copyright law. Burger King and Taco Bell had to change their names(and the latter's basically just left), and more recently a cafe had to change its name due to the name already being used by a cafe in Ireland or someplace... Then there were issues with Starfox and Elebits. Mana Khemia wasn't a copyright issue, I think its EUR release was skipped due to the fact Gust had already released Atelier Totori there...Let's milk Sunny Milk. Then she'll have enough money to fund Sunny Milk Real Estate.
