kirby 3ds came out in japan today so dedede was revealed

sweet now I can play as him and hold down the entire match not even fighting

Huh, it looks like Dedede got a slight design change, he looks more cartoony now.
i am looking forward to seeing dedede's big gay dance on 3DS, but maybe they'll change it? Do you guys think any old final smashes will get changed?

I'm glad that King Dedede is back. I already knew he was going to be revealed whenever Kirby Triple Deluxe got released in Japan. I think the next character to get revealed will be Diddy Kong or Dixie Kong.

Here are fights I don't expect to return.
- Lucas: Because he's irrelevant.
- Ike: Because he's irrelevant.
- Lucario: Because he'll probably get replaced with a different Pokemon.

Actually since Lucario got a Mega-evolution in XY I think his chances of returning are much higher than you would expect, but at the same time Mewtwo also got a Mega-evo so maybe they'll ditch lucario for his triumphant return from Melee?

Dedede confirmed for anti-Christian.

Lucas is probably not making it back because of the apparent trimming of the cast, mostly clones. Ike might make it back, I personally don't know. I don't know about Lucario either, as I do not know who would replace it.

Or they might both get in, with one of them (hopefully mewtwo) getting some moveset changes so they're vastly different. I'd REALLY like to see Lucario return, though with slight power buff because it feels REALLY tough to KO with him, even at high damage.

Quite honestly, I don't really like Mewtwo's moveset in Melee. Too close-range, which I honestly don't think is very fitting of Mewtwo considering an emphsis on his psychic abilities. Also, thanks to the recent movie, I'd love to see Mewtwo return with a form system. Down-B to swap between normal, Mega X, and Mega Y, each of them playing differently. Mega Mewtwo Y might focus on ranged attacks, X on close-range, and normal more balanced, each having vastly different moves. Could be interesting!

Ashley from WarioWare confirmed as assist trophy.

People that wanted her as a playable character are probably crying in the same corner where the people who wanted Skull Kid in as a character are. All we need is Waluigi to be reconfirmed as an assist trophy now.

It's kinda weird though, how Sakurai reveals an Ashley assist trophy without Wario being confirmed yet.

I don't think he'll be playable. I mean Waluigi hasn't got an own game or a game where he is an important character.

Anyway, you (plural) propably know that Dr. Luigi was released for less then one month, don't you? Well, I think, Nintendo should add a doctor skin for Mario and Luigi. It should be just a different skin not a new character which also acts a bit different (different strength and special) like in Melee. :v

I hate that English has only 2. person but not 2. person sungular and 2. person plural.

We pretty much know that Wario is back. I do find it odd that they'd announce Ashley as an AT when Wario haven't even been announced yet.

Edit: Here's a leak of the character selection. It's kinda BS because that's Yoshi's artwork from another game. I don't know where that Mewtwo atrwork came from.

I actually kinda think Ashley could've made an interesting fighter--like a sort of Wario/Zelda mashup or something, despite the fact that that conjures up terrifying images.

But in the end it's not really a big deal. I'm sure Sakurai and his team know what they're doing.

I should get a new layout.

I saw that character selection screen and I immediately saw that it was a modded version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl's. I immediately recognized those character pictures. They're right here.

I even downloaded those pictures and used BrawlBox to insert the PNGs over the respective character's default picture. I haven't looked at them in the game yet, though.

Time for speculation, I guess.

Since he's bringing up the SSE and how there wont be a story mode, and how only one player is shown on the screen, then I'd say the games are pretty much gonna go for the Melee styled adventure mode and this is one of the levels in it. Either that, or its the All Star mode hub, since it looks a lot like Brawl's.

Looks fake. Someone from /r/smashbros also said that Mewtwo artwork is from Pokemon Battle Revolution for Wii.

(I kinda like the design for that menu, though)
