I'm posting from a campground

So I brought my laptop along for a weekend RV trip, and what do you know, it has Wi-Fi! Has anyone else done something like this?
I haven't. Hey, maybe you'll get ideas for your hack!
I also haven't. Also:

I hope so. [outrage] GET SOME IDEAS OR I KILL YOU. [/outrage]
Its not camping if you have electronics beyond flashlights and radios. >:

True. How the hell is it camping, if you're basically in your RV? Might as well stay in your backyard and pretend it's the camp ground...

Now taking layout requests. PM me with the details.
Help me with my PSP issue, please. Go here.

Camping outside was never a good idea to begin with.

Other people could steal your stuff, animals could break everything, weather could screw everything up, and bugs could ruin all the food.

It was basically a smaller, crappier version of our house, plus we think there were mice in the RV. O_o

Anyway, we came back a day early because there was nothing to do. We already saw the wolf sanctuary, which is why we went anyway. Didn't get any hack ideas either sadly, but returned to find another idiot who 0'ed the demo.

I hate those. Every hack I've released has had at least one idiot downvoting it because they were bored. >_<

I think that my second hack had two of them, and then my third had four. -_-

1) Locks.
2) Only idiots would leave fragile stuff outside the tent.
3) Suck it up. I've camped tons of times in the rain. I've camped in below 0 temperatures. (Fahrenheit)
4) Coolers. Canned Food.

True. Didn't you say you were in boy scouts Boing?

1. There are still ways to steal things even with locks.
2. They could easily break things when they are outside of the tent (when you first arrive or when you are using them)
3. It's still a huge fucking annoyance.
4. Bugs could easily ruin your food while you're eating it.

My point is, things happen.

Also, "boy scouts" is a bad thing to be in for a bunch of reasons (if you want to know why, then post saying so).

10 Reasons NOT to CAMP. (Outdoors)

1. Pests.
2. Canned food.
3. Fucking cold during the night.
4. No bathrooms.
5. Soggy patches of mud and puddles during the rain.
6. Carry your own stuff.
7. You're limited in clean water (boiled water taste disgusting).
8. You don't get to shower, shave or brush your teeth
9. You don't really learn anything the second time you do it.
10. It reminds me too much of orienteering.

1. They teach you things that you can learn easily elsewhere.
2. They don't let athiests in.
3. You have to be with other people the whole time you're there.

Those are the big ones, and all the other ones stem from those three.

Just wondering, I'm not an athiest myself, but why the heck are they not allowed?

Jeez... you guys need to go outside more.
I went on a camp, and I'm an atheist.

If they want to do that, they can perfectly well do it. That said, how would they know you're an atheist? And what's so bad about being with other people? And they teach you more things than just how to set fire to crap. They teach you moral lessons most of the time. But hey, if you wanna be a narcissistic, isolated atheist, go ahead! (I'm joking.)

5 reasons to NOT go camping:

1. You might actually have to spend time with other people or, God forbid, your family.
2. You might learn something.
3. You'll get fresh air.
4. You might have to, God forbid, have a decent conversation.
5. There's the off chance you might, in fact, have fun without something electronic entertaining you! You might even have to... *shudder* ...play a game!

(The preceding is satire and is meant to offend nobody.)

I agree it's not camping if you have one of those whale of an RVs with all the crap of your house in a smaller package. Little RVs are okay, but cabins or tents are still where it's at. Camping is about spending time around other people in a setting that's away from all the stress of our normal lives and spending time with people we love. (That includes family and friends.) Don't overlook it.

I'm an Athiest, and I was in boy scouts for a really long time! I guess they never found out.
