Tip: If you give a Muncher tile custom graphics, it will still act like a coin when a silver P-switch is active, whether it looks like a coin or not. So make sure to use ExAnimation if there's a silver P-switch in the area.

The walls between dimensions have been destroyed and out has stepped a fiend, Niscura. The 11 year old assassin Sicari sees this as a chance to redeem herself from a life of betrayl and cruelty. Her friend, K-62 will help her with advice, but Sicari alone can close the dimensions and carry out one last assassination...
Very nice! I remember moderating the first demo of this hack (and I already enjoyed it then), and it's good to see that this is shaping up to become a full hack with lots of interesting and unique stuff. (and yeah, I saw that you updated your hack thread in the WIP forum regularly, it's just nice that you're releasing also new demos )

Well, I do not have much to say, really. If your hack had something that did not please me, I'd say. However, your hack is a rare case of a "hack without mistakes." However, I would like to talk a bit about the map. He, in my humble opinion, deserved a little more attention. I mean, I realized that everything (ie not all) around this murderous little girl, everything is pretty cute and cuddly. I could say my opinion for sure after seeing this photo:
Why not do this with the map? You should by flowers, lakes, leaving it less "square" and maybe a few houses. Of course that's just my opinion.
I remember moderating the second demo of your hack, but I've been following the progress of this hack from before that. I'll be sure to play it when you have the final version.
About the screenshots, I can't really say much, they're not bad, but they aren't that appealing either, although I can see you are introducing new environments and I'm curious about the sewer level in the second screenshot. Good luck with the hack.

I've only been following this hack passively since I moderated it months ago, but the quality of it still looks to be the same as it was today. (Barring the major error that prompted me to deny it, of course.) I'll be sure to give the game a run-through when I get the chance to do so later down the road, however.
Thanks MrDeePay . Always happy to have the feedback of the hack moderators especially. I still believe I have a few minor issues to fix here before I release this 3rd demo to the hacks section, mostly the HDMA in the 3rd castle. I had to remove that patch because of some issues it caused.
Wow- I'm really impressed by how thoroughly you've transformed the original game into something new. Everything from question and turn blocks to the stage intro transitions are different- it's almost like playing a different game altogether.
It kind of makes me wish the obstacle design were a bit more intricate, though. There looks to be a lot of grounded walking enemies, and in general you seem to rely on the same enemy types fairly often. The newness of everything else compensates for that in the beginning, but I'm worried that after the first world or two the levels will start to feel like they're missing something. I hate to say it, but I actually started to get a little bored by the time I completed the second castle ^_^;
Still, good luck making progress on this, because it shows plenty of promise.

I believe I have collected all dragon coins.
Several things need to be fixed, however.
Several levels have six dragon coins. (One of them was the factory/first sewer level, can't remember which one.) Not sure if this was intentional.
Whenever you collect a powerup when you have 99 energy or more, a heart appears in your reserve item box. Not sure if this was intentional, but I don't think so.
Dragon coin on subscreen boundary in Castle #3. I take it that was the embarrasing oversight?
Some levels were way too hard for their place in the world. The one that is the most glaring is Emerald Palace. I had to farm items for that.
Castle #3 has no powerups or hearts. To make it even harder, the boss is actually very challenging. While I don't mind it having no powerups, at the very least have a heart(or blue switch block) before the boss. I also had to farm powerups for that.
Thanks for the feedback. These were all unintended except for the heart going into the reserve box, which is intentional. I did fix the diamond in castle 3 a while back and I'll try and address some of these other issues! ^.^
