If any of you have been peeking around the Data Repository in the last 4 months, people might have seen that I figured out how to make custom hard-coded paths. For this year's C3, I will present an overworld that makes use of hard-coded paths for interesting scenarios. Note that this overworld only has the paths laid down, and does not have any 8x8 tiles. You will have to add those yourself.
1st iteration: Yoshi's island complete. The hardcoded path goes from Yoshi's House to 1-Switch Path. For the path to work Yoshi's House MUST be level 008 and the level above it MUST be level 003. Here's the link.
If you wish to use this overworld in your hack, you MUST give credit. The levels in this tech demo are named according to position and world number.
They're used for various things. The paths in CI and FoI do overlap, that is one possible application. The path from DP1 to DP2 is used to prevent interference by the YSP. The path from the Star Road to Front Door is used so they can visually have Bowser's Castle(Which is on layer 1) in addition to that path.

Yoshi's house and 1-1 MUST have the level numbers included, otherwise the path will not work.
Starting from this point, I am also taking requests to add hardcoded paths to YOUR overworlds. Just send me the .ips and tell me where the path should go.
