Mysterious Islandz is a game that I am currently working on for the last year or so in Game Maker 8, using a previous engine made by CatzeeY aka, DeeY before DragezeeY Engine 7, its called FDE Exi. I wanted to make this game to not be your typical Mario fangame, as I was inspired by the level design seen in ROM hacks of SMB, SMB3 and SMW, and as such, tailored my level design to be quite a bit harder than your typical Mario game, but rather, the difficulty of hard hacks you may have played before, either on here, ROMHacking.NET, acmlm, and some of the Japanese SMB and SMW websites and their data respiratories out there.
There is a plot for this game, but I am not going into any detail yet because it is too early in its development to be made just yet.
I plan to have 9 worlds for this game. This demo is only 1 world done.
Some things you need to be aware of.
-The Level design will be adjusted to be more fairer upon completion and certain parts will have to be redesigned entirely because I didn't like the way it was designed 1 year ago.
-SPCs are the music files used to keep the overall file size manageable.
-The physics and collision detection system will be adjusted later on.

-------------------- On Pixel Art Requests: I generally do not accept work unless I either have the time, if I see your project worth my time to contribute towards, and that is usually me doing the approaching to you on that.
-I also do not accept speculative work as I do have various art I made on-hand with me.
-I am more receptive to equivalent exchange of resources in which case, you can DM me wherever I have an active presence on for the details.
