Rip-X's puny C3 hack-released-download

A demo with very few levels to play through.
I tried here.
Here are some screens(you already know them, if you visited the custom C3 rips thread):

A big CCC thing

Vey imporatant: This hack ONLY work with the latest version of SNES9x and BSNES. ZSNES has a big and unfixable graphical glitch, but hey, it's inferior to the other 2, so it's expected.

Any comments?
The download link to the hack won't stay long. Download, quickly.
I see some of you downloaded, but haven't seen any comments. Although I'm guessing my hack is terrible and that's why.
Don't think that. Just because people downloaded it and didn't comment on it, that doesn't mean this hack is terrible. :/

So I gave it a try, and I must say - it is not that bad! The graphic choices were also good, and I haven't seen a single clash in it. I also liked how you implemented the custom sprites, though I found only one issue that's easily fixable:

(before people complain about the BG, I'm using ZSNES. Don't worry)

I'm walking on a ledge there, and it's not good to see that it's on the bottom row, because there can be unfair spots there (unless you indicate it by coins, that's fine, but I am not sure). That ledge is on about the whole level.

Anyway, I think this hack will have great potential, and that's for sure. Good luck on it, though!

Since the first level is a training level, I intentionally covered all the pits with ground. Just to make it fair.
will this work on ZMZ with an SNES9X core?
Want to see my Super Mario Timeline?
Well, I don't see why not.
Depends on which version the core is from I guess. :P The one that comes along with ZMZ seems to work here fine (it wouldn't hurt testing though).

Back on topic: I played your levels (at least the normal ones, no secret exits found if there were any). It's overall a pretty fun hack. However, I'd like to call your attention to graphics: I know you're a ripper and use your own resources feels pretty good, but be careful with clashes. The cave graphics you used are pretty 3D-ish and can look bad if you compare it to the 2D-ish grassland. I really liked your graphics though, especially your backgrounds! I should take a look at your rips thread sometime.

Regarding the training level: I don't think blocking all holes in it is a good idea if done this way. You could've designed the level so it wouldn't have any holes, I guess it would make more sense. Anyway, I don't think blocking them is that all necessary, because there are other ways to die (one of them being standing above the exploding platform when it timeouts - you mentioned in the message box, but I honestly didn't know the explosion would kill me :/).

Also I guess you're already aware of that, but that goal sphere will make Mario walk to the left if it's taken from the left; make sure you'll design every goal sphere around that if you're going to keep it this way. Avoid leaving a chance of Mario dying when taking a goal (but blocking his way with a wall or block looks rather weird in my oppinion, so I'd give priority to letting him walk without dying by both sides).

Other than those nipticks, it was a pretty enjoyable demo; hope to see more from you, about both hacks and graphics! :D
I see. Thanks Koopster. Any other opinions?
