That sounds pretty spot on anyway, although I think the original used 25% pulses or something instead of square waves (and maybe they were slightly louder).
Also you could add some staccato to the organ if you're nitpicky, but either way great job!
Okay, my brother is a HUGE Pokemon fan of the old games and he was in the room when I happened to be checking the three ports out and he LOVED them. A true nostalgia moment for him. In his opinion he thinks that the songs would sound like that if the GA games were ported over to the SNES. Thank you for making him so happy on a day he needed it and awesome ports! I too loved them as well *thumbs up*
And another one! This was quite hard to port because of the french horn samples; I managed to rip them, but I had to cut them a lot to find a good loop point that didn't end up in a 10kb+ brr (both are almost of the same size (3.87 and 3.90kb)). Thanks to Harumi for the awesome flute sample, by the way!
Also, I (sort of) based my port on this version of the song, since the original had some weird placed notes in the main channel, and at the loop some channels had leftover (?) notes that didn't connect with anything and sounded out of place.
I know carol and Wakana already ported the second song, but eh, I wanted to make my own version trying to stay as accurate to the original as possible (except for the gong that I couldn't replicate that well...). As soon as we finish with the new music section, I'll make both available there, but if you want them early for some reason, here they are:
(Seems like staff members nowadays who port are just forgetting about their threads...)
The ports are great, and I especially like Leonid's Castle. You managed to port it with SMW's instruments, but still keep the same creepy feeling the original had, so nice work! Also, as a side-note, I wonder why you included v0c64/ in the port? Since we don't need to do that for AMK anymore... but that's just a small nitpick.

Oh, that's because the song doesn't have a loop point, and since I was using $f4 $02 (light staccato toggle), when the song loops it disables itself, so I make a very short note act as a fake loop point and put the command in there.
