Very nice to have an Overview of your Ports! ;D

My favourite is Bomberman, but the DonkeyKong Land as well as the Final Fantasy V Port sound very good too!

But I miss some of your Ports here. :( What about the Final Boss Themes from Romancing SaGa 2 and Tales of Symphonia and your Wario MoD Cannoli Port?

I'm really excited to see some new Ports by you!

Those ports a quite old, and I want to showoff the most recent ones only :P

Anyway, there's a new port in the first post that I did yesterday really quick; I'm not very happy with the result though...
Those ports sounds so lovely man! I just like Gilgamesh music yeaaah!

And the new port does not sound bad as you say.

My favourite from that group is Gilgamesh theme! It rocks!
Something I did when I was bored. Not my best port, but eh.

Oh my god that just gave me a nostalgia-gasm. I should play these games again. Even though the mixing is off in some parts it sounds great!

Hey guys, I'm not dead yet :P

Thanks Torchkas, I'm glad you liked it!

Another port from the same game. I love everything from 3rd gen, even though it wasn't my first Pokemon game, heh.

I couldn't fit another piano sample, so it may sound a bit weird. Hope you don't mind.

It's also the same song D:
Err, whoops... I screwed up the links, but it's fine in the first post. Anyway, fixed.
ohh ok

That sounds pretty spot on anyway, although I think the original used 25% pulses or something instead of square waves (and maybe they were slightly louder).
Also you could add some staccato to the organ if you're nitpicky, but either way great job!
Yeah, the original uses a pulse, but since I lost the 8bit brr samples when my computer died I had to use regular squares, but thanks!

Edit: Oh wait, I found them. Updated.
Fanatical like a Demon
Okay, my brother is a HUGE Pokemon fan of the old games and he was in the room when I happened to be checking the three ports out and he LOVED them. A true nostalgia moment for him. In his opinion he thinks that the songs would sound like that if the GA games were ported over to the SNES. Thank you for making him so happy on a day he needed it and awesome ports! I too loved them as well *thumbs up*
Major thanks to Suika Ibuki for layout!

From our family to you, keep your pants dry, your dreams wet, and remember, hugs not drugs.
I was thinking of porting this one for a while now, but you were ahead of me it seems, and you did a far better job than I would've done. Sounds pretty neat, though the horn sounds a little flat.
And another one! This was quite hard to port because of the french horn samples; I managed to rip them, but I had to cut them a lot to find a good loop point that didn't end up in a 10kb+ brr (both are almost of the same size (3.87 and 3.90kb)). Thanks to Harumi for the awesome flute sample, by the way!

Also, I (sort of) based my port on this version of the song, since the original had some weird placed notes in the main channel, and at the loop some channels had leftover (?) notes that didn't connect with anything and sounded out of place.

I should really port stuff from other games...
Great work. In my opinion, the notes are extremely accurate. I found no rhythm/notes/tempo difference (if there is difference).

Definitely
Hey guys! I forgot this thread existed, so here are my two newest ports:

Seiken Densetsu 3 - Strange Medicine (Sampled)
Romancing SaGa 3 - Leonid's Castle (Unsampled)

I know carol and Wakana already ported the second song, but eh, I wanted to make my own version trying to stay as accurate to the original as possible (except for the gong that I couldn't replicate that well...). As soon as we finish with the new music section, I'll make both available there, but if you want them early for some reason, here they are:

Leonid's Castle
Strange Medicine
I listened to Strange Medicine earlier, and it sounds really awesome. I really like the "party" vibe it has to it, but you know how that goes. >w<

Your porting technique is excellente my friend. As far as porting goes, you're one of the best. Be sure to keep us up to date with new ports here, you know I'll be listening. #w{=D}
(Seems like staff members nowadays who port are just forgetting about their threads...)

The ports are great, and I especially like Leonid's Castle. You managed to port it with SMW's instruments, but still keep the same creepy feeling the original had, so nice work! Also, as a side-note, I wonder why you included v0c64/ in the port? Since we don't need to do that for AMK anymore... but that's just a small nitpick.

Oh, that's because the song doesn't have a loop point, and since I was using $f4 $02 (light staccato toggle), when the song loops it disables itself, so I make a very short note act as a fake loop point and put the command in there.

Also, thanks guys!
You don't actually have to put a note there though.
Sweet-ass-ports by the way.
