It's not really echo so much as slight reverb, but see the thing is actually the long release which makes the notes inter-lap. I really can't achieve this unless I do what Earthworm Jim 2 did with it's music and if you know what I mean, ugh hell nah. The closest I could bring it to is
this, I'll later lower the unwind like skewer suggested but yeah, this is as closest I can make the notes from each other.

Since I ported the YI Soundtrack and had the samples I thought why not. Only thing that's a pain is the volume changes with the notes, still fixing those. Jimmy certainly has the style down, and yeah I pm'd him for permission, won't release the Soundtrack until the hack is finished (if ever).
