Excuse me... but are you the same Phase9LetsPlay who made a Let's Play of Touhou Mario 1?
I watched it, it was pretty neat, a friend recommended me you on Youtube, I also enjoyed your Let's Play of ''Lostmagic'', albeit I never watched the whole thing.

I am, thanks.
Looking forward to playing the follow-up. #thp{!!!}
I enjoyed the original, I would be willing to do some level testing if you need it! Just let me know!

Dude, if you would have atleast read the last few pages of this thread, you would have noticed, that Wakana asked for beta testers and already found enough. #w{>=(}
You totally missed the train here.
Sorry, I did read the recent posts but didn't see that. Never mind, then!

No problem.
Maybe I was a bit too harsh here, I'm sorry.

No hard feelings, didn't mean to sound like an ass. #thp{:(}
Hey look, we're still alive.#thp{=D}

So far, two of our testers gave full feedback and so, level design is getting polished. As for the bosses, Vitor nearly finished to revise the bosses done until now (from Nazrin until Nue).

So ya, besides these, nothing much changed, although I have something for you to show, and it's about some reskins that Scorpion happily made for us. Pics are showed below:

Deadweight hammer bros became a cute fairy.

And so are the boomerang/hammer/bullet/etc bros.

New ON/OFF blocks, way more fitting than the silly Yoshi Island blocks.

New ghosties, being scared has never been this cute <3

I'll give you a cookie if you guess which sprites are the fairies...

Fancy new ball'n chain.

Guess these sprites instead...

Bowser statue, so far my favourite reskin <3

This should be easy to guess, ya? @Ghost girl

Jumping bowser statue.

Sparkys and Hotheads.

We also have a cute GIF of Byakuren's fanciest spell.

This is it for now! Comment a lot and motivate us please, thank you! #fim{<3}

Get off your lazy behind and finish this hack >:V
Take your time :3 That gif is beautiful. Keep it up!
Cool #thp{!!!}

Ps I love them all.

All Graphics Is cool #thp{!!!}

Scorpion Edit: Thank you very much for your wonderful comment, but do please refrain from stretching the post with all the quoted(?) pictures.

Pretty sure these are
Swoopers, the ones you see right at the beginning of the first level of Vanilla Dome in the original SMW
.
They look so cute. #w{=3}

Is that
the small diagonally jumping thwomp
?

I would say these are
Ninji's
.

That's probably
drybones
, right? ^-^

I like the new ball'n chain sprite and am especially fond of the new Ghost sprites.
Those are way too cute. #thp{O_O2}
Yay! I'm glad to see that this hack is still progressing. #w{:>}

Spike Top! Give me that cookie! :3

They are very cute with their helmets :33

Bony Beetle!

The ghost girls are cuties too, these replacements are very creative!
Scorpion did a very good work!

Oh wow #wario{O_O}
It really feels like a Touhou game, excellent work!

You all did an awesome work on this hack, please keep it up! #w{=)}

Actually, those are the same sprite (which is a reason why Wakana put them at the same row) because both sprites looks similar to each other.
My guess to the sprites on the quoted images are
Sparkies
because on one frame they have got a black, in the second frame a white outline. Otherwise I agree with you and Eminus about the
dry bone
. However, I have got the same idea with Eminus about the sprite on the lava screenshot,
spike tops
.

Those aren't
sparkies
, since Wakana showed us in the last screenshot how
sparkies
and
hotheads
will look like, and the one she claimed to be
sparkies
doesn't even remotely look like the sprite you are referring to.
The Ninjis
have two seperate sprites as well, one for jumping, and one while being on the ground, so I'm pretty sure it's a
Ninji
and the screenshot has been made right in that moment where they start jumping, simultaneously.

In retrospect, probably really
spike tops
, but since I said
swoopers
first, I will have to go with that.

Right. #smw{-_-2}
i really like the water effect still, it's really neat. Environment looks gorgeous too. Really hoping to see more of this soon~!
AAAW YEAAAH!

The swimming cats are so cute! :3
Oh, the underwater gimmick is very nice too. I have saw it in a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 hack, but can't remember its name...
That kind of perfectionism pique my interest a lot, awesome work! #w{:>}
Looks very dank. I think it might be nice to have a underwater remix of the theme instead of muting a few channels (I think?) but it's fine the way it is.
I don't really have anything else to say, but +1 this:

Nifty feature, indeed.
That things like that are even possible... then again, nothing seems to be impossible with ASM. Must've been a lot of work. #tb{O_O}
Ooh, that adds quite a lot to the atmosphere of the level. Could do with a better transition, though; the change from the normal version to the underwater version is a bit too sudden. Maybe add a splash sound effect?
Thanks for the comments! I didn't thought so many people would like this, as the effect is a bit weird for me even if it feels like you're underwater (so sounds may decrease since water filters most of them).

This is not possible unfortunately heh. It would require reloading the song and restarting the song. Or muting/adding some channels which would make it rather empty.

The current method basically mutes the master volume while setting echo volume to maximum, which you can notice here: normal - water.
(Note the water starts slight later since I had to take the SPC inside level while the normal one I took with AMK.)

This actually is only possible if you know spc700 ASM, which is the CPU used to generate the sound. It's possible to run specific code using AMK sound effects.

I will give a try, but N-SPC engine doesn't allow me fading master volume, so I can only apply fade effects on echo output.
