Uh, you shouldn't post a ROM file of any sort, because it's illegal; post it as an IPS patch instead.
As for your problem, did you do something else that made it behave like that? In all cases you could always recover it from where it was last edited by going onto File > Restore > Restore ROM to previous state.

As there's no longer a ROM that I can check, what kind of error message does Lunar Magic give? If it says "wrong game title", open your ROM in a hex editor and jump to 0x081C0; in 64-bit, that address should read "SUPER MARIOWORLD". If it says the ROM is locked, unlock it. If it's giving you an error about the header, add one with SNEStuff.
If it's none of those error messages or none of the solutions work, then I'm not sure what the problem is. Actually I just thought of something that might be worth a try.
You might be able to open a different ROM and search the restore points folder of the corrupted ROM to try to find a point that was before this whole mess happened.
I also wondered if Recover LM might possibly work but I'm not sure that's the exact message of when you try to open a locked hack.

Back on topic, is the entire hack going to be like that? I can see pit techniques in some of the screenshots, and not everyone can do walljumps.

well first the objects will be the easiest it do because i can place those in relation to the other ones then the sprites will be a bit trickier but not by much plus it is better than starting from scratch and i wont have to test anything
i say it is worth a shot.

Not necessarily but I think it is frowned upon to use wall-jumps in non-pit levels and most likely a removal reason, if that's what you were asking about.
I think once a walljump or something of similar difficulty is added in, the level automatically becomes pit. However, that doesn't stop it being classed as stupidly easy (and possibly consequently really bad) pit.
