Hello!! I'm really happy to have been accepted in this forum. Not only that, but I'm happy to be accepted in this page!!

Anyway, I'm making this thread to post some in while some extra curiosities and bonuses from my art thread: Tales of Draws.


To start it over, here's some inside information about some characters:

- The character Kiro Haraki is an original character a cousin of mine created. He happily lend me the character for my story. The design is all his, only adapted to my way of drawing.

- Cid of the Yoshis (A.K.A, only Cid) started in my original comics (practically, for personal reading) Yoshis X as Cid Yoshi. He was a partner of me, who acted like the creator sometimes apearing in the story. Couriously, he was another version of myself.

- Alcid is an original character based on Cid from FFIV/II. ONly aded the Al to distinguish it from Cid Yoshi.

- Sherry first appeared as a co-anfitrion with me and Cid in Yoshis X Extra stuff.

Here's some more special info about the story Tales of Draws.

With not many thinking, you can obviously see the theme of the story comes from Kingdom Hearths. Refering to the idea of half sword half something else. I thought about something that could also go with a sword, and the idea of pencils and swords for blades and brushes for staves and erasers for shields.

Not only with the weapons, but the Skratches make kind of a resemblance to Shadow Hearhless.

Also, some may think Cid and Sherry represent Donald and Goofy respectively, but not so right. Cid is a little more grumpy, and Sherry is way more intelligent that Goofy (unless my Goofy's Inteligence Theory is correct).

However, the similarities stop right there. The story is way different from the one of Kingdom Hearths. Also, the character develpment is different.

One can get inspiration from almost anywhere, but if you make sure to make an original story, then is different from the inspiration.

Some more extra stuff about Tales of Draws!!

- The idea of the resitance army was already a fixed thing in the story before posting it here, though I didn't know what theme give it. However, after some time here, I decided to make the theme from this place, and actually asked permission to various members to be characters. Most of them accepted. Thanks for the help!!

- Baxter Meao's name is from a cat I used to have (though it was very different from the character (above all, it was black)).

- Jacob IS a cousin I have. I asked him if he wanted to appear in the story and agreed. NOTE: He is NOT the same who made Kiro Haraki.

- Kraven's character is based in a combination of the Grim Reaper from Castlevania and Sigma from Megaman X (that's why he has the red crystal in his forehead)

- As you can guess, I'm a fan of Deadpool. That's why I invented Livepool (actually, another cousin of mine pretends to be Livepool)
