Hack Title Goes Here. - Deep Down

Another compo! This time with some help from Mayonnai for the melody.

I really like the way this sounds. Dark, and percussiony. Sounds like a cave music to me. Really liking the flute? that you have in there as well. I'm getting a good feel for this hack. It's a good minute and forty seconds of a listen. Really loving your compositions.

As for a hack title, I suggest "One Far Trail", or maybe a more generic name like "Harumi's Quest"; but I'd really need to know what's going on before making more "better" suggestions.

Thanks for the feedback! i'm having a lot of fun composing this stuff, especially for my hack.

On a side-note, "Hack Title Goes Here." is the actual name of the hack, which originated from a really bad joke.. it just stuck.

Might make more samples like this, and maybe even release a pack of them, if people show any interest for that kind of thing.

This sounds really nicely made. You made the samples in this? Very impressive! I love the upbeat melody the song gets around 00:35:00 seconds in. Is this for a water based level? Either way, sounds very well done. This is a pleasant to listen to. The song gets better at 01:33:00. >w< Loving your work!

Right before the slap bass(?) hits, it reminds me A LOT of your Ice Cave theme (btw that song stuck in my head for weeks and I whistled it A LOT at college to the point people stared). This is beautiful and you built good atmosphere around it, nice job! *plays song 38038526395 more times as well as converts it to mp3*

Reminds me of those creepy music videos for certain type of laid back songs... I'm kinda thinking a song that Tool could've probably done O_O'. I see a stopmotion vid of kremlin clay figures mining *shivers*.

the song is in fact in DKC3GBA, it's the Water World theme, which is a remix of Aquatic Ambiance.

i was really struggling with a bunch of these samples, so some of it isn't quite as good as usual, sadly. i've really, really tried my best. Thanks though! ^w^
