Son of a (bleep)um-(bleep)ing f(bleep)kmonster! Why the f(bleep) does all this f(bleep) s(bleep) happen to me? F(bleep) my life! Always surrounded by miserable f(bleep)ing c(bleep)s! Phew, now that that's outta the way, dangit, I was porting that song as well (an amk 2 version with better insert size than the one currently) and I was gonna then later sample differently! Ya beat me to it, still, ours will be very different hopefully (hopefully I make something as beautiful as yurs), good samples though. Stickerbush Symphoney is the song I want to play at my funeral, hopefully that becomes a thing. Beautiful resampled port of a beautiful song, nice job

you do realize that my version aims to be as close to the original SNES track as possible right? lol

there's a fuckload of effects in there I can't get around to decrease insert size so sadly it is as big as it is (not that that's a bad thing in any case, since the song is really complex as far as data goes. It'll be hard to shrink it much more than the current one unless you scrap half of the effects!)

granted, I can still do some things to mine to make it better, but I am almost certain you can shrink it much more than I already have. The one up there is still 0xB80 bytes, which is not much different given the amount of stuff I still cut out (such as a billion sample changes).

I'm fine if you are gonna redo it in any case, but don't act all cocky about being able to do it smaller. I hate that sort of thing.

I jx saw this (was this an edit?). I meant no offense and wasn't trying to be cocky, I apologize if I came across cocky, I too hate that. I should've worded my post better and said I was trying to port a less sized version of the song. And I'm not trying to out do anyone or act rude, like I never port something unless I think I can do it somewhat uumm... "better" (???? sorry, I'm trying to make this sound good and not rude bc I honestly mean NO offense and I'm sorry), and I'm talking about Slash Man's port on the song. I love and appreciate his work and he did an amazing job with what AM4 had to offer at the time, I jx want to make a more accurate version with AMK's new features and hopefully make it less sized but I in no way am challenging anyone or trying to disrespect someone's work.

I will agree with you, this song is a huge pain to port but I'm loving the progress I am making so far. This song is super small but with all it's effects it's a huge pain to try and port, especially with the instruments and samples it has. This song is like 40% sequence/notes and like 60% instrument changes/effects. Anyways, I'm sorry if I offended you in any way, those are never my intentions, I try to be the friendliest person and welcome anyone I meet with open arms and kindness.

Oh hey, that's pretty nice! I assume you got your inspiration from Lui's Idol entry? Also, not your fault, but that click on the Pan Flute is kinda annoying. Do you think you can fix it?

i actually designed it around being F attack, heh. I personally rather like it. edit: also, instead of being directly inspired by, lui's track moreso just pushed me to try an actual full DKC compo.

Ah, alright. Still, it's pretty good. I guess annoying wasn't the most fitting word (couldn't even find a better one in my own language...). Also, I love the snare sample; it's so powerful!

After Burner - After Burner [GWED Arrange]

i did not think this was gonna fit seeing as the intro (up to 0:51) sat at 0x821 bytes when I first checked. Final thing is 0x1200 orso bytes, however. Optimizations are piss in this, but it was fun to prove myself wrong.

Your ports are always huge as fuck lol. The percussion is awesome in this.

The only thing that irks me is that the guitar sounds a bit off, but I think that's moreso the fault of the sample itself than yours. Otherwise, this is really nice.
