Super Mario 64 Hack Wario World 2

This is my hack, Wario World 2. Ive only been working on it for about 2 weeks now and it's going good. It uses some custom made textures and the new Flatworld.

Here's a video (quality is kinda bad)

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TpvlOmkym_M&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TpvlOmkym_M&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

This level is the first level, currently unnamed. The reason for the lack of enemys is because of a command that keeps them to the bottom of the it. It is also very short because of the lack of object's to replace in it. (currently only 155 slots) I also need to add a texture for the ground/walls that works.

If anyone has any questions about Toad's Tools 64 feel free to ask.
i have a question, twin <(^_o_^)> (now no more)

for the platform which piece you used?
in this seditor we can't move the collision map
me too have TD64
and the original area: where's?

You can't make custom polygon's. Messiean made them from useing codes in the game which I have no idea how to do.

To download the blocks just click download free, it's on the bottom right corner. Then type in the letters it wants you to.
its pretty good.
Lack of smw Hacking.....
UPDATE: New pictures up!

The Castle of Illusion, not everything you see you can believe.

Begining

How do you get accross?

Dead end?

Nope, but wait another?!

That's about it. I'll post a video later.

EDIT: Oh yeah I forgot to say this will be replacing the level I posted earlyer.

I'm not so sure using those bland textures is a good idea, like in the video, it's all green. Shouldn't you have at least more color so people don't end up walking into a wall / off a cliff?
Same with the castle, though I guess greyy does fit for a castle...
So far though, in terms of level design, it's looking pretty good.
at least add some fg texture's to the ground, its hurts my eyes to look at that all through the level...
- ignore the watermarks, working on a fix for those
There are limits to the blocks so I can't change how the walls look, I can only change how the ground looks. Also, it's sopose to look that way because it's sopose to look all illusionish (if thats even a word)

For instance im going to have walls that you can walk through and all kinds of stuff like that.
I don't have enough patience to figure the complete level design things out myself, but this is looking good so far.
Your layout has been removed.
Did you make that map from scratch?

You should definitely add some kind of effect so the levels have depth. It's really hard to tell where a wall/platform ends and starts when it's not right next to you.

The textures look rather flawed, but the level design is nice. I tried SM64 hacking before. I guess it's changed a lot since I played around with it. (Back then, you could only add enemies and other objects, it wasn't very enjoyable.)
I've really got nothing that important to put here.
You are doing a nice work on this! Your level design is very creative, especially taking in account the limitation of these "blocks". I'm fixing the texture problems (incorrect texture mapping) for the next release and I was wondering if you would like to be a beta tester for it?
UPDATE: I just put up a new video on Youtube.

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wovDr_oEb0w&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wovDr_oEb0w&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

I know the quality is horrible but it'll have to stay that way intill I can find a better video editer then WMM (Windows Movie Maker) This video was also intended to be alot longer by showing the whole level (except the secret parts) but WMM completely erased it.

Oh and sure messiaen ill beta test them for you.

Excuse my un-informative post there.
How exactly do you make these "flat world" levels? And would there happen to be any guide of some sort?I have a really unique idea I want to initiate in sm64, however I lack the needed materials.

If I recall correctly, the newest Toadstool 64 overwrites "Bob-Omb's Battlefield" with that flat world which you can use to base your new levels on.

UPDATE: PPF patch now up!

Im putting up my first patch for the game. The only reason I am is because im going to completely redo the level again because of the new blocks coming out soon.

Their is hardly anything changed in it besides the first world. This was only made so people could play the level so it would'nt have to go to waste, so don't complain about hardly anything changed in it.

Hope you guys injoy it.
