What's up, SMWC?
This project is still alive and kicking, and it's time to step things up a notch.
During the first round (the last thread on this subject), I outlined a variety of submission rules and guidelines. Consider them now suggestions, as opposed to rules.
Here are the revised rules for submissions for this project:
1. Submissions MUST be about SMWC and hacking!
This guideline still stands. If you want to post a clip of you singing or a video of how totally hip you look, there's probably a forum or thread for that elsewhere. Audio and video submissions still need to have something to do with SMWC and hacking. It's up to you how to incorporate those two things into your submission, but they do still need to be in there. If you want to make a submission that sticks to these rules from last time, you totally can. If you just want to throw in a clip of you saying "Hello SMWC! I love SMW hacking!" then you can do that, too.
2. You still need to tell us who you are!
Self-explanatory. Let us know who you are. It will make cataloguing submissions much easier, and it will identify you when this video is put together.
3. Finally, you must still be positive about SMWC and hacking in your submission!
Hate videos = do not want. Flaming and trolling, even casually, is not going to be tolerated. If you aren't sure if what you want to say could be counted as flaming or trolling, ask me; I'll probably tell you that your content is fine, but it's always best to ask and be careful.
Those rules aside, anything goes. Well, except for the naked part, but you get what I mean. You don't have to have too many set topics for your submissions, and you also don't need to worry about minimum time restraints. If you can obey the above guidelines in an epic five-second Vine clip, do it.
The point of this project is for the community to show off how cool and diverse it is, and for you guys to all have fun while you do it!
Lastly, please continue to send me your submissions by PM. This thread will remain open for discussion, questions, and links to submissions.
Go nuts!
Deadline: December 1st!
