"James McKigney, I command you to rise from your grave and work to make the greatest Episodic SMW Rom Hack you have ever worked on!"
Greetings, I am James McKigney. I am being up front when I am named because I used to be here until I lost my accounts through forgetting them.
I hope to hone my skills to eventually make a fantastic Rom Hack saga that is akin to that of the episodic computer games back in the 80's and 90's. I will abide by all the rules and I will do well in learning how to accomplish the goals set.
Welcome back! I didn't know you at all because I joined later than you had become inactive until now. I'm not sure if there's gonna be a return thread, it's pretty unlikely. Anyways, enjoy hacking!KLDC 2020 progress: 25%
Hello everyone! I've actually been lurking on this site for at least a few years, sometimes downloading and playing mods, but I never saw any reason to make an account for the longest time cause I'm not really a creator. But recently I realized that I could still use an account to comment on stuff, so that's why I'm here now.
Anyway, I'm a crazed pervert girl with a weird name and an overabundance of passion and love. Hope we can be good friends <3!
Hello! I'm N450. I would say the same as EarthPhantomTS. Going onto the website looking for hacks to play for a long time. I know how to insert custom music, but my level design needs to be improved. Also I would like to learn how to port music. Finally, if there is a level design contest, I would like to participate. Well, that's all for now.
Nice to meet you!
I'm Josh. I'm just getting into playing ROM hacks. I'm trying to git gud and learn Kaizo skills so I can play a lot of the hacks I've watched people play over the years. Any recommendations of good ROM hacks to start with (at the Hard-Kaizo lite levels) would be appreciated, currently playing through Lost in the Forest and Learn2Kaizo. I play on emulators and SNES mini.
I recently got interested in trying this out again, since some of the new resources I saw on the site looked really useful and a lot has changed in terms of staff and members on the site.
My main point of focus is still playing IWBTG fangames (In fact, thats what I was playing before I got into SMW hacks in the first place) but I'll give this a shot again. God who knows if I have the motivation and patience to finish a hack for once, since I'm also working hard at school.
I'm looking forward to the future and I hope I'll stay here for atleast a while.
Welcome back! I still remember you. You're not wrong, a lot did change on the site until you came back. They are still making some resources compatible with the newest tools while the other ones already were. I wish you could finish a hack once for good regardless of that situation!
And the last, I was waiting for you to say that ZSNES is a bad emulator.KLDC 2020 progress: 25%
Well, i'm not good with introductions. The things that i can say about me is:
-I too lurked this site for a while (also to download hackroms).
-I tried to make a hackrom when i was like 11 it was garbage.
-The last time that i used Lunar Magic was around 2009.
Hey there I'm Reiga. Most of my internet presence these days is as a drawing dude, but recently I've rekindled my enjoyment for SMW hacks and junk.
While I do know a couple tricks from when I tried hacking as a wee child, I'm mostly here just to keep up with the community, cuz I'm not rlly tooo interested in getting back into making full hacks per se. I hope I can help in other areas tho!
