General Map16 Page 3: Collaborate!

There have been requests to create a general Map16 page that can be used by everyone in the contest. I will give you guys one week from now to plan out what you want on it and make it up. You can use this thread to come up with ideas and toss around links to the page. A maximum of one full page (specifically, page 3) may be used. Once the week is up, I will collect the page and post it in the signups thread for usage by everyone.

Consider this a bonus to help you out in your designing.

Good luck!
In a vanilla contest? I guess the first thing that would come to my mind would be differently-colored variations of pipes. Maybe palette swaps of a couple other things, too (mushroom platforms?).

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here. Progress: 64/95 levels.
Obligatory upside down muncher.

Question and Turn Blocks are Green and Yellow Switch blocks.
I haven't touched SMW hacking in a while (I've been buried in Yoshi's Island hex editing), but...

I would imagine many users will make extensive use of those upside-down/sideways grassland dirt walls, because I see those quite a lot in many Vanilla hacks. so maybe those could find a way in Map16 page 3?

Those already exist. Let's not make redundant tiles.

Cement Block and Rope act like 1B4, the tile needed for the triangle.
Upside down slopes is one of my suggestions (again I might not take place in the contest but I think it'd be helpful for everyone).

I agree. Also, since you have cement and brown blocks wedged into the ground, what about munchers as well?
Upside-down corner tiles anyone?

(those with a small patch of green in a bottom corner)

Upside-down Ledge-corner tiles please - even if it sounds weird :D

Slopes in general would be a my suggestion.

Although I'm not personally a big fan of those half-blocks inside walls, if you're going to have them global you should probably have tiles that connect them to normal ground as well. Also the upside down ones are using the wrong half of the block.

Yep, all he did from the looks of it was filp the other one.

I would propose a blank exit pipe tile for now, i might think others soon
I'd also like to have pipe tiles for the other 4 palette rows. I know that I definitely make use of them when I make levels because I'm a sucker for color variation in pipes.
I would propose berries that use the pallete row 5-7. I'm not sure if i'm the only person who uses those though...
Later.

But upside down slopes only work properly in the underground tileset, where they already exist as tileset specific objects.

You can make upside down slopes for grassland objects too. It's a bit complex and requires a workaround but you can do it all with vanilla and with Lunar Magic.

Just for my sake I would like the 16x16 single-tile lands. They look more natural than just sticking a cement block on top of the land. You know, the ones where you piece together the 8x8 tiles to make 'tube' like land.

Upside-down munchers, pre-made land blocks (I form a square of land in my map16 because I am lazy), and pipes that are pre-formed.
Your layout has been removed.

Yeah, can't that be done by setting the tileset to underground and then using the GFX bypass to put GFX15 in FG3?

Can we have pipe tiles going right with the different palette rows too?
