Bijan Ebrahimi was someone I went to college with. He was a really nice guy. He sounded a bit vulnerable, but there wasn't anything morally wrong about him. The last time I spoke with him was outside college, we were talking about his painting job and moving on from ICT. He always had a particular expression about him and talked funny. But we would never bully him for it.
He was falsely accused of being a paedophile; it led to him being harassed a lot. He filmed these people vandalizing his flowers, and that led to rumours of him taking pictures of children. So he was beaten unconscious and his body was burned in Brislington, Whitmore Ave.
While false rumours were circulating, Bijan was arrested. "When the police took him away, everyone was cheering. Then he got released back into that."
Another resident said: "Whoever started those rumours now has to live with that. He wasn't a paedophile and now he's dead.
"That's a hell of a conscience to have. He was always out there, he loved his flowers.
He was one of the people I'd like to have met up with, after our college course. But it sounds like he was wrongly labelled, bullied, beaten and killed. I'm not one of these people who hate the police, but I seem to be losing more and more faith in them as time goes by.

Vulnerable people like him shouldn't be put in nasty estates. He already had to move there because he was "burned out of" his last house. Why wouldn't the police or council help him? Why was no-one looking out for him?
The only recording I can find of his voice is where the thug (who later killed him) storms into his house, threatens Bijan, while he says "Get out of my house".
This is a very saddening news story and it makes me sick.
(CCCP:~)counterfeit% cat чики-брики.txt This truly pains me to read. It disgusts me that people would single someone out with such a dangerous rumor because they happen to be a little awkward/insecure/different, and "vigilante justice" is even worse, especially because the guy was INNOCENT. I feel really sorry for Bijan and his family. Nobody deserves this, and shame on anyone who took any part in hurting him.
