I will join this no matter what but since I'm slower than a goomba (+ already working on another hack.), it proably will take me a long time xc

if it will be chocolate, will its graphics be cartoon-ish or realistic?
Actually, I'm just going to have this be a very diverse hack. If you want to make a choco, choconilla or vanilla level it's fine with me.

New threads relating on two important miscellaneous things I want done in the early development stages so that people don't have to deal with it later. What do you guys think of the Title Screen I whipped up?
Mario's standing position on the title screen looks odd, but maybe it's just me? There seems to be a wrong tile on Bowser's clown car, in the space in between his hands. It's pretty nice overall, but it looks a bit cluttered too. I think you should darken all of layer 1 and 2, so the layer 3 text stands out more.
Added Hailcrash, who PMed me a week or so ago.
Am I late for the signups? I enjoy building hard (but not Kaizo) castle levels.

I never said that signups were over. Until all the levels are claimed in a world, anyone can sign up for a level.

On a scale on 1 to 10, 3 being SMB1 difficulty and 8 being SMB:TLL difficulty, where do you want the first castle to be? More importantly, what feature do you want to see used in this level? I was thinking nets (like with SMW's own 1-Castle), but it's up to you.

OK. I was just wondering if there was a specific gimmick you wanted in this level, but I guess not.
And if I may put in a custom music request, I think the NSMB Castle theme (pretty sure there's a port of it floating about somewhere) would work very well for castle levels.

EDIT: I didn't notice the IPS when I started on my level, so I'll upload the MWL file so it can be added in. I'm using levels 150 and 151 for it, but Ctrl-I in LM can fix that.

There's actually a song I plan on using for my level too. It's Final Hours from Majora's Mask. When I first came up with the idea of remaking my first level for my own project, I thought this song would work well there, and I still think that now.

Since I'm working on this level for your project, I'm going to be putting in a ton of effort into the level design, and I'll worry about inserting music and graphics later.

I've made a few small (mostly aesthetic) edits to your level. I hope you don't mind me adding/removing a few enemies and a ceiling to your level.

To everyone who plans to join: Any and all edits I make to your levels will be for the better. They will be small and barely noticeable.

That's alright. I hope you didn't move the first Dragon Coin lower than it was; it's possible to get that one, even with Small Mario.

I didn't, but the new ceiling makes it slightly harder to get.

Since we all have played the vanilla bosses to death, I think we should use custom bosses. Nothing too fancy, just something to avoid anti-climactic bosses. I'm going to search the sprites section for an easy to implement koopaling boss, and if I can't find anything that interests me, I'll keep the World 1 boss slot claimable.

EDIT: Perhaps we can use this sprite and have someone draw custom graphics?
