Mario's Final World (New thread!)

Mario's Final World is a project I started around September 2012, though I was busy with other stuff and it was frozen. I decided to pick it up around February 2013, though sometime around May I got too bored of Super Mario World and I moved on to Pokémon hacking. Now that I'm bored of that, I decided to just make some changes, though it all came back to me so quickly that I decided to fully revive this hack and I will try to complete it, though I'm starting off with adding more details and fixing up some levels, this time armed with the skills I got thanks to Pokémon hacking.
This is a completely chocolate hack, using "Alternate Mario World" as a base with more custom graphics and custom music.

Plot
The plot of this hack originally wasn't very developed, though now it's very detailed. Below is currently what's revealed in the hack and it will be filled out as more levels get added.
Bowser is at it again, though this time kidnapping Luigi. Mario decides to go by airship, though when he's near Telinc's World, a small earthquake occurs and creates a hole. Mario decides to jump down, but instead of falling in the ocean, he finds himself in a whole new world he has never seen before...

Starting screenshots
I have changed some stuff since I left this hack, so here are some screenshots that show off what's changed.

The level that has changed the most is Wet-Dry Cave. One of the first things you might notice is that I finally listened to your advice and changed the background. It's nothing more than the red wall used in Ludwig's Castle adapted to the cave level palettes.

The new replacement for the Dragon Coins is the Star Coins. That's right, no more MFW Coins, they looked horrible.

The new forest leaves. The pattern it goes in is actually the same as the vanilla tree tops, only it's built out of Map16 tiles and it uses the new forest graphics.

The cloud section of "Hightree Forest" was also improved. It now has a new background, a new HDMA effect and you can also see the leaves (it's Hightree Forest after all).

Just some new little additions to the water world, the fortress and the sign are partially underwater. Also, no, the game is not complete up to this point - world 1 still has two and half levels that are not completed, there are only 2 completed levels and world 2 and there is one completed level in world 3.

Also, just showing the new reset object symbol, as well as how I implemented it in the VWF dialogues.

And that's it for screenshots right now, but there's more. Remember how I said that Wet-Dry Cave changed a lot? Well, I think it deserves a video, which you can watch by clicking here.

Userbars
What's a hack without userbars to support it? I even made four different variations.

"Title Screen" userbar
Here's how it looks:

Nice to see you started it back up. Can't wait for some more new levels!

Thanks! I'm actually just starting a new desert level. Speaking of the desert, here's the current submap:

It looks all right, though there is one thing that really bothers me - the pyramid's secret exit. As you see, it leads right back to the level before it and it's really useless. Does anybody have suggestions on where can I make it lead? I would say the castle, but that will require me to modify map a little (or learn exactly how to make paths that lead the player off-screen like the one in the Special Zone) so I want to hear what you have to say.
On another note, the video of Wet-Dry Cave is almost uploaded, so check the main post in ~20 minutes.
Here's some ideas:

1) I hacked the SMW OW, and saw the paths that turn in SMW's Special Map goes on into another map.
2) Or you can just delete it.

That's what I saw too (they go into the Vanilla Dome) and I was even able to modify them (in my lab rat ROM) so that Mario goes out of the map, comes back from a little higher, moves in a wave pattern around the "SPECIAL" text, goes off-screen again and then walks between the two rows of levels to reach Groovy.

...Useless stuff aside, I just opened up Lunar Magic to check something I noticed that the Forest of Illusion sits above Yoshi's Island when I disabled Layer 3 in-game. I'm gonna have to toy with it a little more and maybe I'll get there.

Edit: I was able to get it to work if the path goes down. Now let's figure it if the path goes up. In the worst case scenario, I can make a bonus level near that oasis.

Sometimes I think it's just a glitch as it happens all the time.

It is because the overworld is smaller than the screen, so Nintendo made the big layer 3 border so you won't see the other Maps.

Yeah, I figured as much.

Anyway...

Yep! New Telinc1 Presents screen. The old one had a lot of problems and it looked terrible.

The title screen has also changed. First off, the hideous vanilla grassland background is no more! Also, the text has been slightly changed and moved to Layer 3. Speaking of Layer 3, I also added some information down in the bottom right corner.

That's it for now, but expect more screenshots and maybe even a video soon!
The hack seems quite promising and it might turn out to be a good hack. I do find the "Telinc1 Presents" to be a bit out-of-place compared to the rest of the hack. It may just be me though it isn't bad looking to say the least.
Looking good as always! I like those improvements on the title screen. It does like, feel odd with the telinc1 having a different style.

I wouldn't insert the new one if it looked bad. #w{=D}
Though, do you have any suggestions on what should I change to make it look not-out-of-place? Changing it is as simple as replacing a couple of ExGFX files after all.

The only reason I made "Telinc1" have a different style is because "Nintendo" also has the same style and it would've looked out-of-place if I used standard letters for my name and Nintendo's custom ones for their name. Again though, suggestions for improvement are always welcome.

Title screen looks good!
