Tip: Try playing around with the Horizontal Level Settings in Lunar Magic. You can create some uniquely-designed levels unlike anything seen in the original Super Mario World.
I wonder if my level will lose points for difficulty? Probably
-------------------- Very very very shortly, this drab, workaday world and everything in it will be changed forever! Follow us into the golden country, into the empire of the senseless!
Also I'll probably be making a couple more ports this weekend so you guys have more options to use for your level. (Assuming any of you want to go the custom music route; if you don't, that's cool too.)
I can probably throw together a few ports as well in the near future. I've been familiarizing myself with the program quite a bit, so expect something soon I guess.

Could you do the song from New Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo DS version where you're in the big castle? It's the one that goes kind of fast. I was going to use that one in my entry.
You have until June 4th (about 60 days, no extensions) at 11:59:49 PM Central Standard Time to make one level that you believe is a showcase of your best efforts.
if you mean a deadline for entering, there is none.
Alright, here are 2 more pics of my entry: Pic 5 Pic 6
These will be the last 2 pictures I upload.
Expect to download my entry this week.
So, comments?
@Jimmy52905: Please put a DIRECT link to the text to hex converting tool, as the thing isn't in your 4th post of the thread.
Chrono Trigger - Corridors of Time
I converted the CT port that ggamer77 made so that it would work with YI. Since I couldn't find a fitting YI instrument to use for the sitar, I just ripped the sitar sample from the original SPC. The .brr is included. The sample data will be included in the .bin file after inserting it, so you don't have to worry about doing any extra work to get sampled ports working--it works the same way as any of the other songs.
Yoshi's Island Contest 2012 - Cave
I finally decided to release that cave composition I made for my entry in the last YI contest. I originally ported this using a hex editor, but I decompiled it into MML in case anyone wants to look at it or something.
That makes 10 ports so far. Just 2 more and we'll have achieved our goal!
Excuse me for probably sounding dumb, but I can't really figure out how to insert the music (in this case, Sand Canyon). I converted the MML to the bin file, and I opened up my ROM in HxD, as well as the bin file, then in the ROM I went to the Flower Garden offset (0ED7D0), but what do I do there? Just select all of the mml.bin in the hex editor and paste it in place of the Flower Garden offset, or what?
