SMAS Central

Link Thread Closed

So yeah, I made this:

http://smascentral.webege.com/

It's designed to host various resources related to SMAS hacking. I added a few things already, you guys can do more if you want.

It runs on MediaWiki, which means if you know how to edit Wikipedia, SMWiki, etc., you'll figure out this site pretty quickly. I tried to organize it in a particular way, so if you can, try to keep it fairly consistent with what I already did.

Speaking of MediaWiki, it doesn't run very well on this free webhost. It's missing some buttons and stuff, mainly just the editing toolbar, but if you know wiki syntax you can do without it. Or if you don't, just look at how I set it up and copy that.

So, comments? Feedback?

I think build a site with MediaWiki is such a good idea.

BTW, my personal website is also built with MediaWiki now:)

Hello, thanks for contributing! :)

Let us spread the word of SMAS Central, and eventually rule the world! AHAHAHAHAHA!

Some updates: The site now hosts 3 hacks, 4 tools, and 1 patch. Check 'em out if you like! #tb{^V^}

I dunno. I appreciate your dedication but in my opinion this simple forum suffices (for now). The SMAS hacking scene is so small that there isn't really any good content you can host. For now anyway. I hope this changes in the near future once more ASMers get interested in SMAS hacking, because all we need is more and more ROM data.

Though I have to say that the pages for hacks, tools and patches are alright. We don't have such things in our forum or the central itself at the moment, and it'll probably take a while until we get it.
My blog. I could post stuff now and then

My Assembly for the SNES tutorial (it's actually finished now!)

Yeah, my idea was that maybe if I made a little site like that and uploaded some tools and hacks and such, that maybe it would attract 1 or 2 new people to the death ghetto known as SMAS hacking. But maybe not. :P
