I know some asm but would like to know and understand more

lda #$02
sta $19

then no operation ram address please help if you can.

take care
umm, you'll have to explain what you mean by "no operation" on a ram address.
If you're running the data in RAM as code, then EA works just as well there as it does in ROM.

If you're not using the RAM to store code, then yeah, you'll have to explain what you mean by NOPing it.
so ram address 19 value will always be 2. no operation any other value to ram address. I know it would be easy to store value 2 to the address but I want to learn something new
uh

The "no operation" command is written like this:
Code
NOP

By definition, it will do practically nothing. You can't make it operate on any RAM address - it stands on its own, if that is what you're asking.
