Hello people, i'am YayGuy and today...

SMRPG DIFFICULTY HACK!

This rom-hack will disponibleze an bigger dificulty in SMRPG.

Will feature:

New monsters!

New stats!

New weapons!

New dialogues!

New sprites animations!

Added an Mallow acessory, the Frog Ring!

It boosts magic attack and magic defense. In the hack, magic is the bests stats in Mallow profile.

Added an Mallow move, the Tattle!

Tattle work as the psychopach but it show the dates from the monster. Example: Attacks, what it do, the type, etc...

SCREEN 1!



Three terrapins running into me. It uses action 4.

One of the most hard battles in Mushroom Way. In level 2 is hard, but after some level up's...

SCREEN 3!



One of the Shy Boings using the newest spell of the game, meteor! In level 10-12 i could do some 40-50 damage, and the level 11 or 12 is ideal to defeat her. But, to information, this battle will be MUCH hard withou time and savestates, so beware.

Star Piece turned in a acessory! It boosts 30 points of all stats.

I'm thinkink if i gonna make other secret Star Pieces (more powerful than the Smithy one. But i gonna let it to the last demo.

I'd like to know what you're aiming for with this hack?

A minor modification, raising Significantly the difficulty? A complete overhaul?

It's an big edit what envolves new Monsters, New Stats, New Weapons, New Dialogues, and probaly, bugs, bugs, bugs.

My aum is turn this game MUCH hard. It changes monsters.
But i want be HARD, and don't impossible. So them i need edit other things also.

I'm afraid of one thing: Level grinding.

One could level grind a lot of levels so the hack would be far easier than you wanted..

Now--- you gonna need pass an lot from levels in the Mushroom Way!!!

The lakitu is also hard! Her have an bolt why are crapping me in the testing!!!

The most easy from the hards is Heavy Green, why theres an most powerful ATK stats. The scripts don't changed on it.

Later i gonna post an demo 1 until i reach Mack.

After i post the demo, you guys will have an time from 1 week to say the bugs. When i get all the bugs in the time, i gonna work until Boyner.

I think you should bug test yourself, because, if it's the same lenght of the original, it won't take a lot of time.

I don't recommenc asking members to bug test for you for a short hack.

What I plan to do is bug test all by myself with my hack, and when I'll have done all the levels, now I'll ask one or two member if they can play around and find bugs or errors such as walking out of bounds or perspective errors... etc. ^^

But considering your hack is just adding NPC, it should be easy for you to find bugs, since there is no level bugs or perspective.

Find them, list them, correct them. If you can't, ask how to fix it! :)

So, you're adding a lot of new stuff to the game, but it doesn't seem like you're going to modify the actual levels. That would be a turn-off for some people.

It cool to have put the meteor to a shyster, but still...

What I'm more focused on when I give comments... is the difficulty.

I try to give advice or thoughts on how to raise the difficulty.
