Okay, got a lot of stuff fixed up so I can start a new thread. This version is going to be easier kaizo than it was before, but the difficulty level will increase as the levels go on. And there's alot of custom blocks to have fun with. I have no screenshots yet, but here's the userbar if you want to support my hack:

Level 1 finished!

I just finished level 1 and it turned out pretty good. Here are some screenshots:

Because its my hack dammit!

Sometimes it can be hard to think of original traps, not all of them are overused though (at least I think so). Some stuff is original, but not 100%
I know the feels. What can be done regarding that is to think deeper on how to use original traps, but I don't see a problem on using ones that were used already if you do it in a different way.

By the way, you may want to be careful with duplicating turn blocks (if that's what you were doing in the sixth screenshot), as it can be used to the advantage of TASers and are one of the main reasons why some levels are brutally broken. Otherwise, I look forward for more from this.

Yellow Switch

Got the Yellow Switch finished, this level includes a big boo boss battle! Interesting eh'? Had a bunch of graphical problems with that until I changed the sprite reqister #lm{sprhead}, DUH! I plan to have big boo come back in the blue switch palace with a much harder battle, should be fun. For now, some screenshots:

About the overworld, well it is nice, but.. well, these lines bother me. Not sure why... what lines, you ask? These lines:



Also, it is nice to see decoration, but I suggest you to remove some of them. Just my opinion.

About level 1.. the dirt is a light orange-ish. But when you enter the level, it magically turns into green! #ab{o_O}

Anyways, it really reminds me of other kaizo hacks, but that isn't really a matter for me, cause I suck at making creative puzzle things too. Also, I love the difficulty here! While not having too much use of glitches and pixel-perfect stuff, it has nice ideas here and there, also it is light-hard. Definitely for me! Oh, by the way, you should add some decoration, it is pretty flat now.

Also, I suggest you to make a tutorial level for custom blocks, cause it may be looking like something else, and can confuse others. You can do it, cause you know everything about it, but new players proably won't know it. Just a suggestion.

About the switch palace, it is nice looking. Nice on-off tricks here and there. A bit puzzling too, but not much to say about it.

Alright, level 2 is finished. To be honest this probably isn't my best work, but it'll do. Here are some screenshots:

That's a bouncing changing powerup you see behind mario, thought you should know that.

Have you tried making the animation slots 8 slots apart? For example, if you have a slot on 00, then the next one would have to be on 08. I think that would make the sideways Muncher better synced.

Really? Last I put in sideways munchers without making the animation slots 8 apart, they were so de-synced it was ugly.
