What originally started out as a SMW hack in 2010, now a SMBX episode (which could be a turnoff for some) is finally complete and ready for to be played in the public!

I'm not gonna post details about this but you could always just view them in my original thread (even though there's not much in there anyways) which can be found in my custom title, I'm just gonna show stuff which will appeal to people which is just screenshots, a trailer, and a download link.

Touhou music... I mean, Episode Trailer

For those who actually play this I hope you will enjoy this! I've spent so much time and effort and I hope it'll pay off! Be weary of this difficulty though, this ain't no walk in the park type of episode you will have trouble later in the game.

General Info
Difficulty: Medium - Hard
Worlds: 8
Levels: 50~
Playables: 4
Gameplay Hours: 2-4~?
Episode Size: 163MB

Any type of feedback appreciated!
Always been a big fan of your work, reg, and this looks amazing. Once I get SMBX running on my new computer I'll be playing this.

Great work, man!

Thanks ZMann! I hope you'll enjoy this! : D

And fuck, the amount of responses in here is edge of the seat outstanding! Nah, I know it's normal but I'm still gonna complain about it anyways : )
Yeah, the SMW community isn't that big into SMBX for whatever reason.

That being said, this is some of the most creative stuff I've seen from you. I love the ghost Toads, and I have absolutely no idea what that thing in the third screenshot is supposed to be, but it's definitely intriguing.
I was played and it was awesome.

Some levels can be difficult.
Looks very cool. I never really played SMBX, but I really admire your work and graphics. Oh and the trailer looks rather scary :P

I think it's that one ostrich...bird...enemy...from Super Mario 3D World that swings down to peck at you. Never seen it work in 2D before, but I guess we'll find out how it works when we play, right?

E: Looked it up, it's called a Conkdor.

Yay, thanks for the comments guys! : P

Yeah what ZMann said.
Looks good reghrhre! I'll give it a go get some ideas for my own stuff ;3

But seriously good work though. I love the use of custom graphics to really make every level stand out.
Yeah, custom graphics was an important thing for me as it really shows off and "describes" the theme for each level really well. And I hope you like this!
Ah, I remember this from waaay back. I apparently still have the old userbar for it.

Never messed with or even installed SMBX before, but I recently played some Zelda Classic, or SMBX for Zelda. I still don't fully know SMBX's capabilities, so with this being my SMBX game, I won't exactly know what to expect. Still, this thing still looks great, if not even better than before.

You hear dice being thrown...

Well, I was sad to see this project go over to SMBX, but I can understand why you made that choice and I'm glad you were able to finally see your project to completion, reghrhre! Guess I need to get over my indifference to this engine and check it out!
aw hell yeah HELL YEAH

I like how every level has it unique theme. Looks fun to play and I like the use of custom graphics. Not really a fan of "CGFX everywhere", but this one looks very good.

Yeah, I quickly lost motivation to hack SMW again after I asked you if you still had the IPS for this and I was still really into SMBX at the time too.

However, I'm now done with SMBX (mostly because the SMBX community sucks ass) and I don't plan on using it again and I'm hacking SMW again and I'm actually incredibly motivated to hack it again (already halfway done with a random level) and I plan/hope to make a full complete hack one day, we will see O:
