Tip: Try playing around with the Horizontal Level Settings in Lunar Magic. You can create some uniquely-designed levels unlike anything seen in the original Super Mario World.

AAright so I wasn't planning on releasing anything but I decided to clean up a couple sprites from a project you guys have probably seen.

[DOWNLOAD]

Tryclyde
As close as I felt like getting. It moves slightly back and forth with 2 heads constantly moving back and forth firing fireballs at you.

Mouser
Tried to get it fairly close as well; it's at least closer than the one we currently have in the sprites section. He runs back and forth on a small platform (about 4~ tiles wide; same span as in SMB2) occasionally jumping and throwing bombs. He is only vulnerable to explosions.

Additionally, both of the sprites Tryclyde shoots and Mouser throws are in the same .asm file. This means they only need 1 sprite slot in your sprites.txt file to be able to use both projectiles.

If I feel like it, I'll make/fix up more SMB2 bosses for release and add them to this thread provided C3 doesn't end by then. As with every C3, these may be removed from my Dropbox account sooner or later, so get them while you can.

Don't count on these being 100% bug free, as I had to more or less adapt them for normal sprite tool use (I was using a patch for my variations, which contained a lot of interaction, movement, etc. tweaks to the regular SMW sprite engine).

Lastly, here's this. I'll let you figure out what I will use this for even though it should be painfully obvious.

I should have something witty to put here (even if it's just to update dated info), shouldn't I?

Tried to give this a spin (since you made it, why wouldn't I at least try it out?) and Sprite Tool gave me this in return.

2 in 1 sounds fancy. I just wish there are SA-1 versions of these as well.

That's what Vitor's SA-1 Sprite and Block converter is for.

Nice job with the sprites, Sonikku. I was going to use the Mouser in our sprite section, but I just never liked it, so I'm definitely going to use yours.
Why don't release the Mega Mole boss from SMWCP1?
Make it happen...
I used trashkas on every sprite, converted them to SA-1 and I end up with the same problems as MrDeePay.
Nice. Are these actually disassembled from SMB2 or coded from scratch? I know you've done the former, but I would assume the latter in this case. These could be pretty useful for some custom bosses, sub-bosses, or even normal sprites in hacks.

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here.

The sprites in this thread are already in xkas format, so there's no need to use Trashkas.
I even tried, without using trashkas and got the glitch MrDeePay had.

huh, what version of xkas is your sprite tool using? the standard one?

i'll try to figure out the issue

Maybe you need to use Asar instead of xkas?

Whichever version that came with Sprite Tool v1.40

Is there any sort of news regarding this?
