The Second Reality Project 2 "R" Release

Oh my god, get the fuck out! You've ruined C3 with this madness!

Oh wait...rather you've hands down destroyed C3 with this epic win!

The original TSRP2 has long been an inspiration in level design for me and I still find it to be one of the highest caliber hacks out there. It's hard to imagine it can be glossed up more than it already is, but seeing what heights you brought the original game to with TSRPR, I can't wait to see what you've done here. Heck, the trailer was exciting enough, but it seems I now have another hack I'm just going to have to jump into. But I say that's a good problem to have considering it's TSRPR2.
So I tried Ghost Train again, and I managed to actually get to the cutscene after beating Zycloboo and got to the next world. Phew! Still, it's a really concerning problem.

The MIDWAY/SECONDARY EXIT bug has plagued this rom!

Not really, but the newest version of Lunar Magic causes the level editor to count Secondary Exits, and Midway Entrances as sprites, as seen here...

Ah, isn't it great when a newer version of LM does handle things like that suddenly completely different? It's right that switching to LM 2.21 was pretty much the last thing I did, because I wanted the flickering screen glitch fixed but I also didn't wanted to screw up the multiple midway point patch. So yeah, this is the result.

So I take it I have to delete all these unused exits and whatnot to make it work? The fun thing about it that I have to check all levels now as well if there is an outside-level leftover entrance. Great, sounds like fun. #tb{:p}

Edit: Hm, I'm not really sure now that this is LM's fault?! For some reason, what you describe didn't happen on the old beta version for the beta testers. After unlocking it, it still says 1 screen for level 0, instead of 13, like in the final version. Have to take an eye on that though...

Edit2: Okay, I'm done looking through the Rom, and yeah the screen numbers match with the entrances in cases like this. Don't know why it didn't happen on the beta, I did nothing different there... I think. #ab{@_@}

It is - I looked into it and I have to admit it is entirely my fault. When I created the battle it was originally only one screen wide so only the first screen was set for an exit. Later I expanded the arena to two screens but I must have forgot to set the exit for the second screen as well - which means you have to be on the left side of the arena to continue for now.

I'm sorry about stuff like that is in there - I'll try to get an update ready asap.

I knew I shouldn't have gone sleeping, I missed the big moment just by a few hours. #ab{;_;}

Anyway, I'm so happy this is finally here! TSRPR was one of the first hacks I've ever played, and still one of the great inspirations for me. I'm sure I'll enjoy this hack just as much, or even more. #ab{^_^} Thanks for putting so much effort into this, FPI, you are truly remarkable.
argh I went to bed just minutes before the release :<

TSRP2"R" is the hack everyone's been waiting for, and rightly so. It's the best hack I've played in years, and easily, easily, the best full hack to be released this C3.
I had the pleasure of beta testing this, and I simply had a blast playing it. (so any bugs found may or may not be my oversight).

And to think people didn't believe TSRP2 needed to be reloaded. Not like it isn't obvious, but let me just say this: If you're not playing this because you've played the original, you're missing out. big time.

Hats off to you, FPI!

Well, I hope you learned your lesson. Never go to bed! #w{=P}
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
Wow! I wouldn't have thought Switch Palaces are long levels now. I like the visuals there. Nicely doen, FPI.
Finally! Finally this is released!!! Can't say anything right now, but you FPI, did an amazing job and the remake looks amazing.
Ah, I remember playing the original TSRP2 and that was a great experience for me although it did feel somewhat incomplete to me. I am glad to see this released now so I will quickly download it. I will start playing it after recovering from the VLDC exhaustion I have. Good job FPI!

Thankfully, I have patience on my side. #tb{:j}
Hmm, due to a space saving trick I did on that "Green Hill Zone" fixmix, #5 on the death music occasionally gets out of tune, depending on when it's activating. Do you think you could fix the death music by putting $ed $81 $00 at the beginning of #5?
Check out my music!
Well, I just completed World 1. Impressions and progress:

• Nice to get a little background on Zycloboo.
• Marty Mole's back. Great to see a minor character from TSRPR get a bigger role.
• Thirlox, eh? I was wondering who that guy was when he appeared in the 2nd trailer.
• Marty's Secret Base is a much better replacement of the "Extra" levels from the original TSRP2. There's even a room where he stores the salvaged gateway he talked about in Monty Mountain.

This is awesome. I've been waiting for this hack for quite a few years since TSRP series was what got me into hacking in the first place. You really have something awesome and I'll let you know my thoughts and reactions

I downloaded it, and after the FPI logo, black screen, crashed probably....

But damn I can't wait! Hype and more hype!
@xImseiken3: accurate emulator?...

I'm stuck in Ghost Train and since I got all stuff I can in earlier worlds, all I can do now is to wait...#tb{:(}
Bye.

I am using ZSNES 1.51, I guess 1.51 is the latest update for zsnes
Like many others it seems this was also one of the first hacks I've played and it still remains one of my favorites today. Super excited to finally see the release of a Reloaded version.

Can't wait to play this!

So there is something wrong, because I use the same emulator.
In this case, try zsnes 1.42 and, if the same error happens again, download and apply the ips file again...

About the ghost train issue, it seems like if you take a hit and stays in the left side of the room after beating Zycloboo, the game will not crash and we'll be able to advance further. At least it worked for me. That's good. Well, since a fix will come asap, there's no reason to worry about this...I think.
Bye.
Redownloaded it again, it works perfectly now! Finished W1, and I must say I am impressed, it's far better than TSRPR (maybe it's just me :P).
Playing through this on the wii snes9x emulator with no issues up and through world 2.

Well, actually that one level with the lava skulls... I thought they were background bushes and had one hell of a time koopa-jumping my way to the end without savestates.
I've learned the collective intelligence of the human race amounts to roughly that of a bar of soap.
In other news, why am I here.
Holy fucking shit dude, I love you. Even I'm posting here...
