Tip: Take advantage of easy to install Patches in your hack. The No More Sprite Tile Limits or SA-1 patches should be considered if you're encountering glitches where Mario and/or sprites are turning invisible.

I'm not getting anything :(
LM is right on desktop for convenience. Thus all the required files are also there on the desktop as well.

I swear this is starting to feel like back when we were in the beta testing period of Addmusic K, lmao.

Side note: I have no idea why all the versions that Eevee is testing keep telling me the zips are corrupt. What could possibly be the issue with that?
can you make an addon for use AMK directly from lunar magic?

Just edit "usertoolbar.txt" and put somewhere this following code:
Code
***START***
"%2AMKGUI.exe"
0,Opens AddmusicK

Okay, my layout looks ugly.
Revolutionary tools indeed. I don;t suppose they work with SA-1 in the current state.

Uh... try this maybe? I'm really running out of ideas at this point.

So then that's definitely not the problem...

No clue either. I'm just using the normal Windows Explorer dialog to zip these...what are you using to unzip them? If you have 7zip does that work?

So...new check for both mario90 and Eevee: Please go to your System32 folder and verify that these files exist:

MSVCP120D.DLL
MSVCP120.DLL
MSVCR120D.DLL
MSVCR120.DLL
KERNEL32.DLL
MSCOREE.DLL

I highly recommend using the search toolbar so you don't have to manually sift through a thousand files.

Finally, Eevee, just to be extra sure, did Exceptions.log or Stack trace.log ever appear for you? If they exist they should be in Addons/Layer3BackgroundEditor.

I don't think it'll work exactly like that but that's the basic gist of it. Probably more like

"AMKGUI.exe" "%1"

or something.

It should, but only if the patches are adapted for SA-1. By default world-lib uses SA-1 addressing on SA-1 ROMs, but it cannot automatically convert patches.

So you're safe using Super GFX Bypass+. uberASM too if it supports SA-1. Layer 3 Customizer patch you'll need to find a dedicated SA-1 version for.
I should get a new layout.

Probably won't, though.
Not sure what everyone is talking about; the tool works like a charm for me :P

Awesome job indeed, Kipernal!

Edit: Proof:
(How come it seems like I'm the only one who the tools never crash on?)

So, now my hack won't crash, but this time, when I did everything showed in both the GIF and the quick start guide included in the editor, the background appears, albeit glitched. What am I doing wrong this time? When I loaded my ZST, I went to the graphics button, and then I saw the four red squares, I clicked on all of them, the tool created ExGFX files for them, then I set the palettes, and saved, then inserted the ExGFX with the yellow mushroom.
I'm use Winrar to unzip things. Never had an issue with it until now. Also, surprisingly I couldn't find any of those files you listed in my System32 folder. I guess that might be my problem.
It's saying something about Lunar Compress.dll. It's not letting me extract it.
UberASM input works and that is awesome. Any and all things that let me not venutre too far away from Lunar Magic when making a hack is better, in my opinion.

The other two options do nothing when I click on them.
Am I supposed to manually apply the patches in the "Put In ROM Folder" before they will work?
@Kipernal: I have a working SA-1 version of the layer 3 customiser applied and so as the SA-1 version of UberASM.
Only the SA-1 sprite status bar is bugged, and we're waiting for Vitor Vilela to fix that patch.
Also, does it matter that the 3 patches are in Asar format?
Except these in a SA-1 version of Layer3ExGDX.asm that I ain't sure if it works, but what's the point, if you have the SA-1 layer 3 customiser? It has Layer3ExGFX.asm automatically integrated.

Wait, not letting you extract it? What's not letting you extract it? Is it your anti virus or something?

No, it's a problem a bunch of people are having and I have no clue why. I'm trying to work it out though.

Any chance I could get a screenshot?

world-lib uses asar.dll, so that's actually the preferred version.

Yeah, as imamelia pointed out, that was a mistake. It got mixed in there by accident.

Alright then...let's try this:

Everyone who's having issues with crashes or buttons not working, try this. Let's cross our fingers and hope this works.

I actually installed that before you recommended it.

Edit: I have all the missing files but its still not working >_>

Strangely enough, when I move Mario's starting position to the top of the screen, I can see a non-glitched layer 3 background, but even then, its palette is incorrect.

Did Exceptions.log or Stack trace.log happen to change by any chance? If not I'm trying some alternate solutions; sit tight.

Might be a patch conflict somewhere...? Does it do this on a clean ROM?

There still weren't any logs generated from this one.

Edit: I reinstalled it and now its working for me. I have no idea why it didn't work the first time.
It did the same exact thing on a clean ROM.

I keep getting an error that says "C:\Users\user\Downloads\vcredist_arm.exe is not a valid Win32 application" when I try to install that file.

Even though vcredist_arm.exe didnt install, x86 and x64 did AND, bingo-bango, IT WORKS. AWESOME. SOOOOOOO AWESOME.
Weird because I could have sworn I'd installed those long ago but, apparently not...oh well! WORKS!..in the sense that all options now load in Lunar Magic. I havent actualy used it yet, but that was definitely the first step in the right direction.
