Edit: Hijacking my thread for this level instead.

I'll be honest, while I do have an idea for what I'd like this level to be, I'm not really sure if it would work or if I should even attempt to fix the level, or hand the torch over.

I wanted to remake the whole level as a flying yoshi segment, possibly messing with levelASM to make it so that when hit, Yoshi doesn't take the blow (and therefore you stay on him if you're not dead). If that idea seems fine to the majority, then I'll try it out. Otherwise I'll pass the torch.

Here's what AxemJinx said about Bully's Brambles for anybody who wants some ideas of what is currently believed to be bad design choices.

--The difficulty is both too easy and too hard. Too easy because most of the enemies don't pose much of a threat, and too hard because there are a bunch of narrow passageways whose surfaces will hurt you if you touch them. I would give more space to players in the harder areas, and adjust enemy positioning / usage in the easier areas.

I like this idea if you intend to focus on the flying yoshi aspect, but would the bully sprites work well when you can walk on the brambles and fly over enemies? Or are you thinking of switching up the enemy roster a bit, too?

Not enough levels utilize Yoshi, so I also say to go for the Yoshi idea, as well.

One thing to possibly consider is that since this is a transition level amidst worlds much like To Land Much Below! before it, you might want to have the level end in a world 8-like hellscape.

I would most likely switch up the enemies and most of the level at that.
