All right, a bump for this thread. I have released a demo for others to play. You are free to choose whichever level you like, and each level belongs to a different collaborator, as shown here when here in the Yoshi's House:



The directions show who has created the level. The OW will be rearranged for the final release, so for now, this is the NITOR Demo Release 1.

Let us know for any comments, questions, and concerns.

Gemini (?): In the last room the first p-switch isnt needed. Therefore the entire coin snake part can be skiped.
Cherry Twist & Monochrom: Both doors in the first rooms lead to endless Bonusrooms.

how nice, two totally broken levels, XD

Nice catch pe5e! I didn't even see how you could use the green shell to bypass it!

heh, I'll typically test my levels for breaks like that, but sometimes I'll get so caught up in what *I* intend to do, that sometimes I'll miss things like that.

I appreciate it; Trying to think of how I should fix it, bye eliminating the shell and replacing it with something else, or... something. IDK.

Just make the distance bigger so the coin snake is necessary. That should solve the problem. Maybe you can even put another little kaizo part into that extra space, who knows.

On the level itself: I quite liked the difficulty and design choices. Most parts were new and creative. The only thing that bothered me were the white X kill boxes. I think black skull blocks should match the dark lava thingy better.

Lets hope the other 2 levels will be completly playable soon. I am looking up for that #w{=)}
I fixed the secondary exits in the 2nd release. It's located in the first post.

I released this sooner than Flan, since he hasn't made any changes and didn't notify me of the changes yet to be made.

I probably should've mentioned this earlier, but TDO is taking a break right now so I'm in charge of this hack for now.

So, this hack didn't turn out as I had hoped, so we are scrapping this hack, and I am going to make some changes to the Overworld, and I will release this as "final". Once this is done, I will submit this for moderation (will all of the members involved, of course.)
Might as well give an update to this hack, as to where this hack is going. Since the majority of us lost our motivation, what better way to cut a hack short than to release it as final? So, I have been remodeling the Overworld, and I am rearranging the levels, so it can fit. Here is what it is so far. There are major changes to be made, of course. I'm trying to keep this overworld simplistic.



There is also going to be another submap for the cave level that Flan has done, and the hack will end from there. With all of our levels combined, we have managed to complete 4 levels. Not bad, I guess. Once this is done, this will be submitted for moderation.

Now that I finished and arranged this, I am going to take a break from the Kaizo hacking scene and I'm going to start my first non-kaizo hack.

Kagami sent me an unlocked version of this hack in January 2015 before my long absence. Sooner or later, I will be fixing this hack up, and will upload it to the hacks section. This won't be any time soon, but it is most likely going to happen, so I just wanted the people who showed interest in this hack to know.
