Congrats to all who applied, those who made it, and those who put in work to try and become mod. I'm sure it was a difficult process to go through in picking effective mods, and I'm honored to have even been considered.
I realize I am fairly new, but I promise you guys and gals, I'll do my very best to keep the order with my new responsibility. Perhaps we can all get to know each other better as time passes. I plan to stay and help out as much as possible.
Agreed with Atomix. I'd rather try to become mod the old way.
I'm making a great hack right now. It includes mostly custom GFX
and if I have enough time, I'm going to learn how to make custom music.
(Yes, I realize music is hard to make but I'm gonna give it a shot anyway)
No, seriously, though. The mod positions aren't just name color swaps, I know that for sure.
Suck it up, either you flame too much, or you have contributed nothing to the community. Either way, there's always next time. (Or not, depending on the amount of funding Smalls and Boom.dk have to keep SMWC alive.)
I'm not going to wait until next time. I'm going to work hard to become a staff member the old fashioned way.
Or, of course, you could easily take the easy way out (which will be revealed soon)... Muahahaha.
What is that? Kiss Small's feet?
Actually, I have an idea that the staff may have a sort of "runners-up list". So in case the original selection doesn't work properly, they could just take out other people from the list to take their place.
Yeah, congratulations to every new staff member! I try not to be too jealous, but believe me, that's really hard. Like pieguy, I'd also like to know why the others didn't get the position, but I think it would be hard to describe.
Anyway, I hope there are staff applications like this every year, and I'll try hard to become a mod next time.
Also, didn't Buu-Huu say he didn't want to be a mod? Why is he one, then? Just curious.
WhiteYoshiEgg: I was sitting next to Boom the whole saturday evening while he, Pac and Smalls were reading the applications and stuff, and they had their reasons to choose who they did
They probably know what they're doing, so let's trust them for now, shall we? ;)
