Ground pound patch

I used asar to patch the ground pound patch.
It says change free ram and space but I didn't as I believed asar finds its own?
The actual ground pound works but the blocks don't.
Did asar find different ram than the blocks are looking for?

Try to put ;@xkas at the top of the patch.

This, plus I'm not 100% but I think XKAS patches still require you to find freespace. ASAR will only automatically find freespace if its an ASAR patch.

HERE is a tutorial on patching Xkas patches and finding freespace.

Yes this is true, you still have to find freespace for xkas patches. Alternatively, you could try looking here to see if anyone's converted any patch you're looking for to asar format.
Major thanks to Suika Ibuki for layout!

And do not forget: Assemblers (i.e. xkas and asar) cannot search for free ram because they don't have constant value and can even have different meanings per game/hack.

more like because ram is not mapped to cartridge

I get the free space now do the tutorial. Finding free ram is a matter of using the map and hex edited to free addresses correct?

Also was strange the ground move worked. But the blocks didnt function .

Yah if any had the asar version that would be great. But I'll continue with the xkas for now

So I found freespace and plugged it in .
But no luck with the ram..
It's like it over rights other patches.
I tried severe freeram addys.
Any suggestions?

Are you putting the same RAM address in the blocks and the patch? The blocks need to be able to check whether or not you're ground pounding, so they should use the same one.

Get the official ASMT resource pack here!

Yeah iam :(

Maybe it' was address iam using.
Since I've converted to sa1. Will there be other free ram available because of the patch or still the ram map with the number changes?
