I'm working on a huge Hack, which will include 130 to 150 Stars.
I intend to have many ASM hacks, for instance my own cutscene engine, i've programmed for SM64. I'm hoping to get this finished somewhere around january 2016.
Here's a video wich captures the spirit of the hack quite well:
Stonesnake Shatters Preview
I also intend alot of custom bosses. The stage boss for this preview is a mixture of Quetzacoatl (a goddess in some old cultures) and the stonesnake shown in the video.
I also intend to get this game running on an actual N64 later on. For that purpose, i'm rewriting a huge part of the engine to run at full speed with those bigger levels.
...while I'm not a SM64 hacker nor I play SM64 hacks, I have to admit that this is extremely impressive. Great job. I may play this if you get able to finish it.
This is very impressive. I look forward to seeing more updates from you as time goes on.
meh
Wow, FLUDD in SM64. I wonder if sometime down the road Super Mario 64 hacking might become as advanced as SMW hacking.

Legacy custom music

How am I so creative? I think taking walks might have something to do with it.
Every single level I will ever make in SMM2 will be easier than Ultra Necrozma.
This looks amazing. Just an advice though, you should make the snake move a bit faster because players might get bored while waiting for it. That could also add a bit more of challenge since there doesn't seem to be any hazards other than falling down.

Nice job.
This is perfect impresive hack, I'd love to see this more of it.

It's the first level, no need for challenge.
Note that this level wasn't shown in its perfectly finished form, i feel bad about spoilering everything. there's more stuff going on inside the temple later on.
... yeah i forgot to mention that in the video, will add it to the description... lol
This reminds me of a free mode sm64 style game. The custom fluid looks really cool as if like it came from sm64. What is going to be inside the snake's mouth? (acid, the boss, a star, a path to somewhere).

there will be a puzzle. the boss appears only on the last act.
Sweet. make the puzzle like banjo kazooie and donkey Kong style. If you want me to give ideas for your hack let me know.

the puzzle in there is based of a mingame in SM64DS. I got enough ideas for my hack.
Hey kaze? Will you also be making the rocket and turbo nozzle? For the rest, good job. I am honestly really impressed.

nearly finished drawing another level.

Mod edit: Holy table stretch gone.
Really impressive. I like the levels and the asm hacks you used here. If it gets better, I'm probably going to call this the best SM64 Hack of the year.

Tarek701 is dead.
I would not say the best SM64 hack of the year (I don't like ASM so much), but yes, it's looks cool so far, the Model design looks well detailed and designed, and i liked the F.L.U.D.D. But, The only thing that does not fit well (in My opinion) is the Textures in your level, Otherside, keep up the great work.
How do you not like ASM? Exactly how is that a thing?

I can not explain , I do not like SM64 ASM that much, I do not see much vested interest in this, I prefer more SMW ASM. But, everyone has their opinion, I do not judge anyone by their choice, I know it sounds strange and I do not care much , but do not get me wrong , I liked the level , I would play this hack when done.
Okay....

-------- anyway now to give my 2 cents on the hack :P

The design is really good on this level, the music was great. Really my only complaint is that the snake stone thing moves soooo slowly....can it go just a bit faster? lol

That recent level looks like something from Legend of Zelda.

Will this game have a few puzzles like LoZ, but in the Super Mario fashion? Or is it all gonna have puzzles like SM64?

a majority of the textures in this level were from windwaker. i try to use textures of the same style in every level to keep everything in harmony. so that's why it might look alot like zelda.

there weren't many "puzzles" intended. atleast none, that would actually require alot of thinking... but there will be some mario - styled puzzles.
