You're now about to see my greatest reveal yet.
Brace yourselves.
After careful consideration, I've decided that it's official.
I'm releasing the unstable pre-alpha version of Colossus for testing purposes.
Get it here.
See here for more info/past milestones.
Due to the relative slowdown of Colossus, progress on it has dwindled significantly. After the recent lack of activity in my first C3 thread, I decided it would finally be time to release something
huge, as in almost a year's worth of experimentation.
Back in January, there was no goal, and it was just mainly testing a new base ROM. Shortly after, it became a full-blown chocolate hack, using every possible gimmick I could discover.

Deep into the hack, progress slowed down, though I made a few more tweaks and solidified 8 worlds, that should all be playable. However, what to do for World 9 is unknown (if it should be scrapped to save time or be replaced by a smaller world). Recently, I also added in new custom graphics to spice up some of the blander levels.
See some examples right now.

As it stands right now, counting these two,
sixty screenshots of this behemoth have been taken in all.
Due to a slow development cycle, the prealpha is here to be tested. While I want a very hard romhack, I have already made some attempts to curb the difficulty, though you guys can now provide even more help. If for some reason the patch doesn't work (as I have been trying to lock it to try to ward off potential plagiarism), say so immediately and I'll replace it.
If you have any questions to ask, do so here, as the pre-alpha could be a rather unstable build.
While this hack is compatible on all major emulators, setting the per2exec on ZSNES to 150 may be useful to help hacks like this one run faster.

Good luck, and get ready for the ride of your lives!
