More objects patch 3?

I've been thinking about a third patch. I am not very creative though and would want people to do some modelling/ideas for objects for me. The objects should fullfill following things:

- less than 200 polygons
- useful in different ways (likewise, a boss enemy would only have one use, whereas a pole or a breakable box can be used for more than that)
- the way mario interacts with it makes sense (i dont want boxes that warp you to a random location or smth)
- is different from the existing objects

these objects can also be more stuff combined, for example, a switch and a block for that switch.
if you've got ideas or models, send them to me/reply to this thread.
What about a Shadow Mario to replace Koopa the Quick?

These are called Flipswitch Panels, I have made a model for them, 28 triangles each model, which are Blue (Normal), Yellow (Touched) and Green (Cleared). = 84 Triangles and 3 32x32 textures:

maybe a mini mushroom?

also, maybe some enemies:

mecha koopa: functions like the smg counterpart

kick able shell: drops off koopas. When touched it launches in that direction. Hurts mario 2 damage if hit. Kills enemies in the way. Breaks the breakable blocks.

fuzzies: kind of spin in circles and hurt you.

Podoboos (or giant balls of fire, whatevs): jump up from under the ground in a set pattern, then back down. Lights mario on fire.

flying koopas: self explanatory.

dry bones: acts and behaves like koopa, except when it is stepped on it will come back after 30 seconds.

I know what objects you should add for the next objects patch.

1. A enemy generator which generates lots of enemies and you can destroy it by hitting it.

2. A GPS simulator which reveals a map of the level and the current location you're in right now. Red is where you are, the yellow are the stars, and the blue are the red coins and the Xs are the way to a secret level.

3. GMOD resources which you can choose what objects you want to put and then it comes out and you can do anything with it (use it, throw it).

4. Star launcher from SMG which launches you to the sky and go to higher levels of a course.

5. A Mario kart block which lets you touches it and randomly gives you an item like in Mario kart (whether chooses you 5 1-ups, a star, some hp, and a 1-up.
My object suggestions:

- Beat Blocks from Super Mario Galaxy / 3D Word (preferably light blue and pink blocks since red and blue would be too similar to switch blocks). Bparam1 could be what color it starts with while Bparam2 could adjust the switching rate (maybe in BPM)

- Boost Pads from Super Mario 3d World. After stepping on one, it locks the player at a high speed for about 5 seconds. No momentum should be lost during this period, even if they jump or long jump. After the 5 seconds are up since the boost pad was last stepped on, Mario's speed reverts back to normal.

- Those green Switchboards from Super Mario 3D Land / World. They don't have to follow a specific path, they could simply move forward or backward depending on which half the player is standing on. Not sure if it requires a collision function, just throwing it out there.

- Para Goombas (?) They would retain the Goomba's behavior except that they fly. If the wings are too high-poly, they can be 2D animated sprites instead. Bparam1 would determine whether they fly side-to-side or up/down, while Bparam2 would change fly distance

- Lava Bubbles (?) Again, if it's too high-poly, it can be a 2D sprite. Bparam1 = Jumping rate, Bparam2 = Jumping height

Got more to add.

? Blocks from the Mario games which you jump under it or ground pound it and you can get coins or items.

Turbo boosters from racing games which gives you a boost on your speed for a while.

Full 3d Pikachu if possible which a pikachu comes out and helps you on your journey as an ally similar to an RPG game or you can fight it too and control it as a second player.

Animated lights which lights back and fourth and can be turned off and on with a switch useful for dark areas.

The animatronics from FNAF( please do that) which brings all the animatronics including FNAF 2 (Five nights at Freddy's) and they can whether chase you and kill you to death plus with the jumpstart and the scream and also they can move when you use a switch or something.

these should be okay. i can do it in one 24 polygon model with 3 textures.

those could be a good, i would make them useable with a path, but im kinda scared people wont be able to use them... same for beatblocks

might use this, after changing the texture. the lightning makes it look cut - off.

I even got more and more cool ideas for the next object patch.

1. Object creator (lets you make your own objects by mixing up some other objects or by using a custom object with another object like a coin and a star = star coins)

2. Animated fire (when a fire spewer throws a flame at a wall or disappears it lets out a small fire that can hurt you if you step on it)

3. Number blocks from the Mario party games (determines which course you go to depending on the number)

1= Course 1, != Flying Cap level, ?= Secret level, Bowser sign= Bowser level

4. Alarm triggers ( an alarm sound turns on when you break into something like a alert from any stores or games.)

5. New enemies (includes kremlings from DK64, fan made dragon called Zyterus (the water dynasty dragon), Octorocks from the Zelda games, Pokemon from Pokemon, and Krusha from the donkey Kong games.

6. Mario checkpoint spawner (a checkpoint on where everythime you die, you will always appear on the same checkpoint you went until you run out of lives or exit a course.

7. A battle system (a new feature and object which you can battle enemies in a simulator, but like a RPG style similar to Mario and Luigi superstar saga.

i can't see much use for them... i want people to be able to build new stuff with the objects, not just code custom enemies.
I've had this model lying around for years:



It's a boat. 80 faces, 2 textures, 1500 scale in SM64 Level Importer.

I've tried to make it float (like the floating bridge in Jolly Roger Bay) several times, but it was no use. It would add a nice touch in water levels.

- SMW Cape Feather replacing the Wing Cap (able to glide upwards/downwards for a brief moment, this triggers after dashing)

- SMW P-Ballon (use it to float up in order to reach platforms far ahead)

- NSMBWii Propeller Block (use it to fly high up to utmost platforms)

- NSMB Coin P-Switch (activate it to turn blocks into coins temporarily, may be usable to get onto hidden pipes or areas)


The last two, if possible, I could do these once in a while, but I need to find textures.
