I've never seen you try and make a collectable in these "More Objects" patches, is that possible? Or does it really not fit with these patches?
it surely is possible, but it doesnt fit into the concept of these patches.

my objects aim to give the user more possibilities to create paths and stuff like that, not to simply add new stuff. if an object cant be used for many things, i wont accept it.

also, a date for this is set, ill stream it on weekend, not sure how much of the weekend ill stream though.

patch is done, ready for download.
I'm sure most people have seen it, but Brodute's new preview for SR 7.5 has all three of the new objects utilized. The tracks for the green platforms are a very nice touch.
Maybe you could use the same model as the blue and red blocks, but instead of a switch you could put them on a timer.

moving arrow platforms from fort fire bros in SM3D world
mystery box
double cherry and double platform (idk if this could work)
beat block
propeller hat
some sort of level timer maybe?

i'll think of some more later on :)

Final post that I'm going to say and I will not come back here again on this site. Don't ask okay.

Final ideas I will say for the fourth patch:

The rail things from Super Mario Bros. (ones that goes up or down depending on what rail you step on), the beanstalk block from New Super Mario Bros. (you can add a beanstalk in a block and then hit it to make a beanstalk pop out and makes it go up, but the block won't disappear, and you can climb it as well to go to higher levels of a hub or a level), a ridable cloud from New Super Mario Bros. (jump on a lakitu and then a cloud appears after hitting him, then you can ride the cloud for about like 20-30 seconds. Don't know if you want to implement that), and for the last idea; pipes that raises up or down from New Super Mario Bros. (don't know if that's possible, but ok.)

Beat block as pieordie1 said, and maybe a check point flag like the ones in NSMB? if someone decides to make a really long level.

Anyway, going to repost a suggestion from earlier.

A clock like the one from SMG2 that starts a countdown. You die at the end of the countdown so you have to try to collect the star it spawns before the time runs out.

You could use the cow bell in Nlst 7, number 11 for the beep and for the change, mario's ground pound SFX in nlst 0, number 5.
That chain-swinging platform in SMW, as well as the countdown platform (which falls when there's numbers down).

I thought Kaze already made the level timer for Apioeus' All or Nothing hack?

The countdown platforms are an awesome idea and I would like to see vines or chains that you can control (swing back and forth once you're on them).
- Purple coins

- Beep Blocks

- New Collision thing that scrambles your controls (frauber did this one but never released it IIRC)

- transparent pipes

- Snake blocks

- fixed checkpoints (They stay active even after you get a star, It should reset the flag (lol puns) when you either get a star or choose a different star then the one you hit the checkpoint on)

- yoshi

- Thwimps

- Remove mario's head from the Mario head screen and replace it with a static model (optional patch plz)

- Spikes (Super Mario Maker styled - Solid collision that hurts you by one)

- New Weather (rain, sandstorm)

- Zelda OOT styled loading zones (mario keeps walking and the screen fades to black then the screen fades back in a new area with mario still walking)

- Seamless transitions (you don't even notice it loads a new area (like oot)

-5 Silver Stars (maybe you could replace the 5 hidden space in the original which spawns a star)

-For 2.5D levels:
+ ? Item blocks / Breakable Blocks (Set Bparam on Toads Tool to define what's inside

-Time Limit Spawn (Appears a message on top of a screen; after being read, countdowns "x" time)

-Daredevil Mode (reference: In Super Mario Galaxy, there was a few missions which you had to repeat in a single health for boost challenge) (So -> An object in Super Mario 64 which spawns a message at the top of the screen maybe saying: "Now it's time for a real challenge" and your health gets down to one) (Not the best idea for water levels though)

Alright, so these are more like simple stage gimmicks than actual objects. Although, tell me, what do you think?
Okay so you are looking for some platform ideas. Okay how about this:

+Moving spikes (4x4 (16) spikes goes up and down; basically it gets out of the ground for "x" time and goes back to the ground (repeats).

+(Not a platform idea but): Enemy Generator or Object Generator (ideal for Boss fights)

+Rising lava (very useful for fire and volcanic level) (set the "x" distance and the "y" distance on toads toal)

+Yoshi's Island platforms: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=yoshi+island+platfroms+&view=detail&id=D06478E6CBA9D6EEA8482C1911134080BF72D901&first=17&count=1&FORM=IDFRIR (Basically if you are on the far right of the rotating platforms, then I will direct you to the right side; vice versa for the left side) (I probably didn't explained it right but go check some Yoshi's island footage and you might get what I am trying to say).
