Da-yum, that's a really cool idea. Especially that one part where the exit is blocked by cement blocks, then monty moles pop out and open a path...also diving down to attack in the process.
I really don't think that the cutoff messes with the level that much. I'd be fine if you kept it in. (for me it would at least. I don't know about everyone else)
That's a pretty clever workaround with the moles. I was about to say to replace the tiles they create with a transparent tile that's equal to tile 25. I realized that would be a problem afterwards, as not only would it affect other people's entries assuming that they will use moles; it also creates actual cutoff inside the dirt.
Haha I love this idea so far! If the level's main gimmick is blocks deleting themselves, then I think the Eating Block sprite would be a cool addition to the level.

Cute palette! The part where bridge´s disappearing and moles are popping out of there must be frustrating. Hope for some more surprising mole attacks in the second part.
