ayy boys

I decided let's do this so have a super basic screenshot of what stuff might look like.


Level design has yet to begin; this was just to show that this thing exists.

This makes no sense, why is there a berry on the bush? What kind of castle would grow berries? This seems highly illogical.

There's not much to say about your level for now, excepted that the ground and spikes seems a bit too pale for me. You combined the castle's foreground and that cloudy background, it can be interesting.

My opinion on this level for now is... Null. Waiting for more screenies/videos! #wario{:peace:}

Same way Munchers grow in caves, underwater, on clouds and cement blocks, or sometimes even on the air, maybe?
Or there could be a patch of dirt in the middle of the floor that's completely hidden by the 2D view.

I can't tell too much about the level itself, but it reminds me one level from the VIP series or another Japanese hack. I've no idea why, though. Maybe that's because of the bushes in castles concept.

...Yeah, the berry post was a joke because he was actually the one to (even jokingly) tell me to put a berry there in the first place. Cool discussion on that stuff though guys.

I'll see if I can make the ground/spikes a little less pale, no guarantees on that though, I kinda like it the way I had it now.

Well, I certainly didn't except this to pop up again. This was a very pleasent level; I enjoyed playing it quite a lot. I especially liked the little bonuses like the reward for being on the other side of the net.
I did encounter some sprite limit issues in the first net area, so you might want to fix that. Aside from that, no complaints.

Damn, I thought I fixed those by applying NSTL and removing 1-2 of the koopas; apparently not completely.

Remember that the SA-1 pack will be inserted so you might want to patch your level with it.

I like that your level involves around nets which are in my opinion underused.

Did you set the sprite memory to 10? It's recommended to use this one.

Anyway, your level looks nice. Good to see some net gimmicks, as they are aren't very frequent in hacks.
