Tip: Try making new backgrounds using SMW's existing graphics. For example, if you have a hilly BG, rearrange it to make it look more unique. Not logged in.

Currently this part of the level and shows off the aesthetics. It's intended to be an art gallery if you could not guess. The gimmick is the various doors will eliminate any "dead" enemies whilst animating any of the art or "dead" objects.

This of course is the dead side so far. How's it look so far?

The pictures look really good. Very interesting gimmick! It'd be funny if enemies would jump off of the paintings, but I don't know if it's possible with vanilla work. Anyway, good job.

It's definitely possible using the Swoopers and respriting them.

Whoa, this looks really neat! Some really nice ideas you've got there - especially liking the bony beetle resprite. The gimmick is pretty unique as well, although it might be a bit confusing to players at first.

Also, nice alliteration.

It would be possible to do so if the swoopers sprite weren't located exactly where several other enemies i've used are located such as the eeries. Even then I'd only be able to make a single sprite jump out, not worth it in my eye to rearrange every sprite just for a single frame. There's going to be an "alive" area so they would be "jumping out" regardless. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll remember that for later.

Thanks a lot for that. As for the gimmick there's a message box at the beginning that explains it so the player isn't left in the dark. I also legitimately just noticed that it was alliteration, I was just against using gallery in the name!

I figured I might as well give an update on this featuring the Living Side.
To have a better idea of the comparison here's the flipped version of mostly the area's Dead Side.

I believe that I've completed my level. I am now looking for any play testers that may be available to help test it. As I believe I've tested it too much to be unbiased in my own opinion. Here is the IPS

I would recommend removing the hanging saws from the level. They're all placed in pretty annoying positions, and make certain jumps far too difficult to complete.
