I wasn't entirely sure if i wanted to enter this year. I didn't the last two and even now I couldn't come up with anything worth going through with. But I looked back at my entry I did whatever years ago (i think it was 2012), and I remembered that I actually made two levels in my entry and used the extra one as a intro level. It was a blue colored forest level mixed with the cloud tileset. I was thinking about the idea of re-using those tilesets and create a new level based around the same gimmicks as that level.
I feel that the first thing that should be done in this level is to present how things work. There are tree tops, and it will transition frequently between being on normal ground and walking among nothing but tree tops. Layer priority is enabled for all of it and there will be enemies walking among the tree tops that you may not see at first.
Messing with the koopa colors to match the palette style of the level...
I'm set on the red and blue, a bit iffy on Green, but I'm not so interested in the yellow. I'm working on this a bit for now.
Opinions? I get the green koopa to be more green instead of that turquoise color it was originally, and got a yellow color i was more fine with for the koopa's skin.
