I don't want to overload with the updates, but it's been a while since I showed off the new hub. Here is the main part of the hub, where most of the activity is going on. Leave us some feedback! (The colors are a bit off in the photo; I think snipping tool messed with them a bit :/)

It seems a good hub world, but here my hints :
-that Flowers SM64 texture looks a bit weird, maybe changing it so it don't looks boring (its only my opinion, don't take it bad)
-also try to not make text with polygons, you can make them just by textures
But if you want to leave that texts as them are, you should make them groups, so they don't consume a lot of Polygons.
-Finaly, you should use the move tool on at grass part, so it don't looks flat, and make those green plants with a wood floor also groups


That's all, I like a lot the concept of a city :)

Looks good but you need not to draw 3D texts, even if you make it a group(will not clip with the face it's drawn on and inflict extra polygons when triangulated) or not, just make a texture with an alpha channel, apply it on a rectangle and you can save like 126 polygons.
Is McToadette's supposed to be a play on McDonald's? Because I can so see Toadette asking "Do you want fries with that?"

Nice Job, i just wonder if in the Hub, you can acess all the levels of your hack.

Yeah, McToadette's is like my version of McDonalds, and Pizza Toad is
a play on Pizza Hut. The Toad family has a bit of a monopoly going on in the Mushroom Kingdom :P

And the way the hubs will work will be like the original, with five levels per hub. This is only the first hub, with the second planned to be the most important and visited hub.

Also, I understand about the 3D text, I will get it fixed.

I really like what you are planning with the courses and hubs and I'm not trying to be nitpicky, but the original game had only 4 courses in the second hub (HMC, LLL, SSL and DDD) and 6 in the third hub (SL, WDW, TTM, THI, TTC, RR). But I like the idea anyway!

Yeah, I thought I was a little off. We might do that too, because, again, we want to stress the importance of the second hub, so having it with the most courses only makes sense. Thanks for the feedback!

I think you prepared the patch the wrong way, maybe you used a wrong ROM file. It doesn't work.
Me and 55supershadow are sorry for the corrupt patch.

The level is pretty good overall, but I found some stuff in the demo. First, if you exit the level, the game crashes (I did it to avoid dying). Also, if you die in the overworld, the game also crashes.
I also recorded when I played the game :p

Thanks for letting us know! The biggest reason is most likely because the demo was just a quick thing we threw together, maybe to give a basic understanding of the game. There are also a few glitches and such in that level that will be worked out before the final game :) Anyways, thanks for trying out our hack!

Having some trouble patching it, the version of FLIPS your download comes with and the version I had before it keeps saying that the patch was not intended for this rom. Never had that happen before.
