Actually, the grass seems to have been made from the tiles that make up the "Orange platform that goes on forever" sprite. Wuthering made that particular level, so you could send him a message if you wanted more details.
I've sent out the beta ROM today, of which one was one of the volunteers in this thread (thanks!). I've given the testers about three weeks to get through it, so I'm anticipating a release in about a month at the latest .. though given how things normally come up, that might be pushed back a bit longer.
Regardless, I will keep you guys updated on how things are going.
I almost feel like the release should be delayed until C3 if you all are pushed too far back into May. It'd be a lot more time to wait, yes, but it'd also let you guys have more time for testing and refinement, while putting less stress on the staff, and maybe spark up C3 a little bit.
Just a thought. Unless some of the staff members are already getting apathetic and burnt out about it, ofc.

In other news, the majority of the testers are already finished, even though I gave them like three weeks to test the game. On the downside, there were far more bugs than I thought, and although they're fairly minor, they're still present. I'm going to use the weekend to fix them up and then send out a second beta to one or two more people. Once that is done, we should be ready for a release.
heard some of the playtesters are having issues with my level and not really understanding it so much. I'm just gonna throw this here for now if it may provide any insight on how to complete the level. Also, SNN, I know you told me that you removed the hidden warp pipe, but I saw in the video of one of the playtesters that the area it originally was is completely blank, can it be possible to replace the tiles that resembled the pipe to be replaced with the normal ground tiles it was disguised as? It just bugs me that with those tiles gone, it just leaves a floating log, and in this level it kind of bugs me a bit. Its not a big deal at all, but I was just wanting to ask if it could be possible to do that before the release.
