Two tilesets in the same level?

This is something I've always wondered.

The first room in 3-4 uses both the Castle Stone tileset and the Jungle tileset. On Golden Egg, the castle tiles are all jumbled up but in-game they turn out completely normal.

How can one recreate this?
Sprites 1BA through 1C9 are the tileset and palette changers. You'll want to use those.

EDIT: Oh, and make sure to have a buffer of a few screens with objects that aren't affected by the tileset or palette where they change over. Also, if the player can backtrack, add the necessary sprites to change it back. Otherwise you'll end up with a bunch of garbage.
Same with 5-8 too with sky and brick castle :P
