Muncher shooter

This little enemy is a cluster sprite with very little ground interaction, it doesn't change it's direction when it touches a wall (it will take a lot of cycles and potentially cause slowdown) so you may want to put the shooters near of a cliff. You can have up to 20 munchers on the screen!

The pack includes:
- Muncher (cluster sprite)
- Six types of shooters:
+ One that acts like a bullet bill launcher (muncher_shooter.cfg)
+ One that is the same as above, but doesn't spawn a smoke (muncher_shooter_no_smoke.cfg).
+ One that doesn't give X speed to the muncher (muncher_shooter_no_x.cfg).
+ Same as above but without smoke (muncher_shooter_no_x_no_smoke.cfg).
+ One that spawns a muncher without any speed, but it doesn't spawn another if there is a muncher below of the shooter. It doesn't have sound (muncher_shooter_special.cfg).
+ Same as above but without smoke (muncher_shooter_special_no_smoke.cfg).

Too lazy to make webms/video to show every shooter.

Another sprite! This one was made because I was bored and it seems to be a nice enemy.

This one is better, it detects AMK to get the correct jump sound. Also, it now does check if mario is on ground to decide to play the Jump SFX or the Cape Spin SFX.

Zidane bro dude guy look pretty cool as well.
The Zidane bro doesn't seen that threatening as it takes a little long to get mad. And it probably can be jumped on easily. But I can see how simple the setups you made to show them off are; they might be interesting for more complex level design situations.

The Reznor boss is good, honest; you're a good person for increasing the variety of bosses we have by a little.

Looking forward to what's next, I like your stuff~

I like both of these (Reznor Boss & Zidane Bro). They're easy to understand and don't feel over-designed. I'm not sure the attack speeds are exactly where I want them- I would have to test them to see- but fundamentally, these are very nice. Thanks much!

That Zidane Bro gave me an idea for a football/soccer based level.

The Reznor boss is interesting, I'm not a fan of "hey look, the boss just game me a way to damage it", but this one makes more sense. Sux that the blue flames get stuck in the wall though.
It all looks good! I like the Reznor Boss, it has interesting attacks...

As for the Zidane Bro., it's funny but awesome

I don't know if the cluster works with alcaro's tool, it should work, any problems please report it here or via PM.

Awesome sprites. I really like how the Muncher Shooter works.
That muncher shooter should prove to make a great obstacle, congrats!
I feel tired, I need people to test what I have done so far and search bugs and some people that help me to fix some other bugs if needed.

This is an almost complete powerup pack (I do have plans to have 5 powerups more, while I haven't decided 3 of them). It features 7 powerups:
- Ice flower from NSMB Wii and NSMBU
- Hammer suit from SMB3
- Boomerang suit inspired from Super Mario 3D Land
- Raccoon leaf from SMB3
- Tanooki suit from SMB3
- Shell suit from the original NSMB
- Rocket boots (or a blue mushroom :V) from Terraria (this one is from MarioE)

This two I have planned to do:
- Cloud flower from Super Mario Galaxy
- White raccoon or tanooki suit from NSMB2 (I know, it's overpowered, but whatever)

I don't included a readme (I'm a bit lazy, the 1.0 version WILL have one) but you only need to insert powerup.asm and insert the sprites and the blocks included.
powerup_base.pal is a palette used by the graphic files included (GFX00 and GFX01)
Note about GFX00 & 01: I used some tiles used by the small koopas to make space for powerups items and effects. You may want to remap using hex edits or STEAR.

KNOWN BUGS, ISSUES AND THINGS I FORGOT TO DO:
- Raccoon and tanooki powerups doesn't display the 8x8 tiles.
- Same powerups doesn't display the tail when climbing
- Do a proper readme.
- I don't know what I forgot to include, but isn't important I guess :v

OTHER NOTES:
- I don't know if this is compatible with Dynamic Z (I think isn't).
- It isn't compatible with Imamelia's Manual Player Palette Updater (due to a Ladida's patch)
- Tanooki suit has some frames where it has a tail, I can't edit those because they would look ugly (yes I can't edit graphics)
- Hammer and Boomerang suits have a missing frame when you punch while you are in a net.
- I DO NOT TAKE SUGGESTIONS (maybe later, idk, but don't ask)

When the C3 is over, I'll make a thread in Resource & tool release forum because I do want to finish this.

Test this on a clean rom!

I don't want to have people saying that their hack broke and they lost everything because my powerups.
Cool powerups! I can definitely see Ice Mario, Shell Mario, and Rocket Mario in particular being useful for level gimmicks.
