So it has already been six months since my MGU3 announcement and am happy to say the hack is currently 2/3 finished! If I were to just guess on a release date, I would have to say October/November~ish, but don't hold me to it. I have been having a ton of fun with this hack and it's turning out pretty awesome so far in my opinion. The difficulty curve is way more balanced than any other hack I have made in the past, and all levels are completely doable savestateless, but that's not to say there isn't a challenge.
No screenshots this time around, and most information is shown in the previous C3, you should read that if you haven't already.
However I didn't show up empty handed. Below is a C3 exclusive video which is unlisted and can only be viewed by you guys! Sorry if a couple frames skip, I don't know why it did that.
You're still giving a good attention to graphical consistency in my opinion; I bet that will make quite a good number of people happy.
I'm glad that you're keeping a more balanced difficulty for this game; this level felt just right to me for a world 7 level. The high difficulty kind of kept me from going too far in the second game which is really unfortunate since I wanted to do the series full, but I should work on that sometime.
Your design seems as well-thought as ever, by the way - there's just something about it that makes it feel so legit.
Looks really good. Can't wait to play this hack, because it looks quite promising. I've player MGU1 and 2, while the second one had a slightly too tough difficulty at times. Remember: speed =/= difficulty.
Anyway, it looks good so far. Can't wait to see more.
Oh hey, I remember this from last C3, including the ninja concept. You didn't disappoint so far and neither did this level, as you managed to make it fun. I've always been a fan of your style, so it already astounded me how this is failing to get more recognized than it is already. I can't wait to be able to play this!
I haven't been around much for this C3, but I will stop by here to say that I'm very much looking forward to MGU3's release. I've enjoyed the MGU series so far, and I'm sure I'll enjoy this third installment as well.
