Considering I'm not sure what exactly you mean, yeah.

Koopa perhaps? Climbing into shells and the shells give you different powers depending on what color they are sounds like a decent idea.
Basicly, like you can turn into Ludwig, and perform the moves he is able to use durring the boss fight.

Chargin' Chuck. You can jump and clap to kill enemies but you can't run very fast.

Might be fun, could also make it shatter turn blocks and stuff.

Would probably be a fucking nightmare to code, considering vanilla Koopa's codes.

Maybe Hammer Bro? With this morph I can throw hammers at enemies.

Believe what you want, not every sentence is true.

Haters will always be haters and try and make you blue.

But blue is a pretty color, it doesn't have to end.

Even if the hate, is hidden within your "Friends".

Idea:
Jekyl & Hyde effect, where the powerup is invisible or hidden behind something and Mario basically must grab it (Maybe on the other side of a door or whatever)

So not for functionality per say, but for a more twisted plot where Mario is delusional, or flashback, parallel world, etc.
* LEOD AND MEDIC PLEASE READ *

Yes, I'm guilty of caps whoring.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I found a critical bug in the morph.asm patch (assuming it's the patch with the testing I did).
Sometimes, upon entering any other level, none of the arrow keys or jump buttons will work, though the game can still be paused. This could happen at any time you enter any level, and even then, I'm not 100% sure.

Undeniable proof that the controls can glitch out (as soon as it's processed).
Make sure you aren't using the !Transformed freeram anywhere else and, if you changed it, that it is still cleared on level load.
If you do change it, make sure to change it in every of the sprites and the patch itself.

So, address $13D8 is supposed to be free am I correct?
I didn't touch the !Transformed value anywhere.
Yes.

Also for some reason the bubble is empty if I lose the morph after collecting it...I thought that was fixed not too long into the thread?

disregard
I really like what I'm seeing here, people sure will enjoy this pack. I support the idea of the Chargin' Chuck morph, sounds pretty fun.
Also, I noticed that when you jump as Ninji, there is no sound because of a silly typo in ninji's sprite code:
Code
LDA #$01 ;jump sound
STA $1FDA

$1FDA should be $1DFA, lol.

Anyway, nice job.
24 hours aren't a lot of time!!!
I thought something else interfered with the jump sound (maybe the smoke or whatever) so I just thought MEH WHATEVER.
Updated in the OP though.

These sound like they'll be a lot of fun to use. As far as an idea goes, I'd like to keep mine simple and say:

Spike Top: Can walk on walls and roofs, jumps low and can fall from ceilings. Though it wouldn't be fun if he was invinsible, so still hurt from eneimes.

That's about it.
This is a great patch and I'll definitely use it in my hack. It reminds me a lot of iChun's Morph mod for Minecraft. Also, is it possible to make another version of this sprite but set it to different tilemaps, and have both of them in the same ROM?

By the way, if anybody has any fun ideas for other powerups like these, feel free to suggest them here and they might just happen.

A simple idea is a Bob-omb. You can turn into one, although you can't jump. Instead, pressing the jump button makes you explode. Exploding will return you back to normal. Maybe even Yoshi if you wanted. Another one is Monty Mole. Pressing down while on a ground tile will cause you to dig into it. Pressing the jump button while you're in a tile to get out of it.

Is it possible to for a generator or something to clear it on level load?

My suggestion for this is that when it falls from the ceiling, it gets stuck on the ground for a while, leaving you vulnerable to being hit. Mash the jump button to get back on your feet. Most normal attacks don't affect a player that morphed into a Spike Top, although fire attacks and spikes will hurt it.

I have a DeviantArt, if you do want to see my art on there. I don't really visit it much now, though.
